Yeah, I have certainly had them in my life, but I never really got the appeal. I was such a weird kid though, I also hated McDonald's except for the toys. Now, Chick-fil-A on the other hand is practically heaven on Earth.

Yeah, Lunchables are made up of things that should be healthy, but they put so much salt and other things into them to keep them fresh and to taste really good to appeal to kids, that they are pretty terrible for you.
I am not sure that I am as bothered by it as duckbiter is, but he is right.
Sounds like they have different sponsors throughout the tour b/c early on they kept talking about 1-800-FLOWERS

You guys are so primitive. Don't you know the real bootleggers film it with a good digital camera of some sorts, but then dub the audio through stolen IEM feeds. People who have the equipment set up outside the venue somewhere and trace the wireless signals and record the sounds coming over them. I know Greyson wears IEMs and I'm sure some of the band does as well

I would expect "Purple Sky" to be on it. I thought I was familiar with the story of "Purple Sky", but I've never heard it or seen it posted anywhere. Wasn't it some type of Charity release? Anyone know where I can find it? Purple Sky hasn't been released yet. It is a song he talked about with Ellen during the interview before he first performed Waiting Outside the Lines. Here is the interview (around 4:17 the discussion starts) --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeKGJqV3ZcA

That looks like a comprehensive list of all the songs that we know about with the exception of "Stars."
I agree with you that I don't see Fire or Paparazzi being on it. I also don't see Empire State of Mind being on it mostly due to the fact that it doesn't really fit into the theme of "heartbreak." Also, I don't know that I can see them putting a cover on there though I would like to hear a studio version of it.
I think Waiting Outside the Lines presents the most interesting question. I can see it fitting with the theme, but not really. I think I agree with your gut feeling, djtiny, that it won't be on there. However, it is the song that he has been playing at all of his appearances and he has a minor hit w/ it at least among the target demographic. Still, he has plenty of time to release and promote a second single so I am going with no right now.

You are much better then finding information then I am That is interesting, so Purple Crush (There is a soft drink that is called "Crush" but I don't think theres anything Purple Crush) is the studio band behind Greyson huh? So this must of been maybe a practice recording for the band? Or maybe even the official, I would think they would get into some trouble if Interscope/Geffen/1111 found out Sounds like they are arranging or producing or something like that. Coming across the song was completely random and lucky. I was going for the recordings that I posted from the radio appearance. Also, Google is your friend. Tweet from them so must have been in January sometime -> Here is their last.fm bio: Brooklyn electro duo, Purple Crush, exploded onto the digital club sphere in early 2007 with the release of “Welcome 2 Emoclub” EP on their own label, Crushed Records, which included the heavily remixed track “Shopping on the Dancefloor”. Spreading their wild live shows across the US and Europe, this notorious married couple flooded the internet with saucy tracks, campy remixes and low budget yet infectiously entertaining music videos, becoming an established name in the underground dance world.

Ok, so when I saw "Purple Crush" I thought it had something to do with a soft drink. There is something like that, right? I don't drink things w/ carbonation so I am not so sure. Anyway...
I just did a simple Google search of "Greyson Chance purple crush" and found this:

Actually, after listining to it a few times, the vocals sound different then any other recordings i've heard. It just sounds a bit different to me. Although the instrumentals seem to be similar to the other studio recordings. Yeah I listened to if a few times before I posted, but I am pretty sure this is some sort of studio vocal recording. Mostly b/c he sings parts differently than he does when he is playing it live and he doesn't over emphasize the "my best friend" line nearly as much.

So, this is where we got Summer Train from and now this song has been put up there by Purple Crush, of all things. Not sure what I think about this recording. "Interesting" is I guess the word for it. soundcloud.com/pcrush/broken-heart-demo-greysonI don't know if this song is legitimately released or it if is another leaked one, but I am pretty sure that it is a studio recording of Greyson singing. I am not going to put it up on YouTube b/c I have had my fair set of copyright strikes against me, but there it is...

Probably about time I get around to doing this.
My name is Meredith for those of you that don't know.
I saw Greyson's "Paparazzi" video late the night before it really went viral after seeing it posted on some blog. I still have the email I sent to a bunch of my friends before I went to bed titled "This Kid Has Talent!" I remember that I almost didn't click on the link b/c I was not a Lady Gaga fan and honestly just thought it was going to be some cute kid impersonating her or something. However, I am so glad that I decided to watch it. I can't tell you how many times I watched that video that next day b/c it truly blew me away. Of course, it was his voice (thee is no denying that), but a lot of people have great voices. For me, it was more the way he sang the song. So much passion and enthusiasm. He really got into the song and that really showed and impressed me for his being so young.
However, I soon was drawn to the "Stars" video. Seeing somebody that young sing about such an "adult" topic was a little strange, I must say, but his ability to write lyrics like that and to try and tackle a subject that deep at his age was truly impressive.
I have pretty much kept up with him from day 1, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
EDIT: I also want to think everybody for joining the forum and for helping make it a great place so far. I also want to especially thank djtiny and Lee for their help with things as I've worked to get this thing started up. If you have any suggestions/complaints/requests/questions, etc. please just send me a message. You can send it to mapender or to Admin, but I tend to check my personal messages more often.

Greetings, I have known the Chance's for several years. My oldest daughter grew up with Alexa and my youngest used to play with Greyson all the time. Anytime he was at our house he would be singing something. They would always put on plays or productions of something and want us to watch. he was never shy, always bouncing around and i don't know if I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He actually performed one night and my wife and I said watch one day he will be a star, kiddingly but look what happened he was about 5 at the time. My oldest daughter was at Alexa's house one day and they did a video production where Greyson sang Proud to Be an American. You can check out my daughters video on Youtube. I have the entire production that I will post one day just haven't had the time. Anyways, what a great family and it is such a pleasure to watch him grow in music. We wish them the best. I am so glad he has all of you suporting him. He is truly a natural and very creative. the best is yet to come. That is so cool that you know the Chance family. I know we'd all love to see that whole video if you do get it posted. Let us know if you do.

OUCH! for Cody. Hope he doesn't see this review, but truthfully, the reviewer is expressing my thoughts very well. Cody, JB, & similar acts don't appeal to me. Not my kind of music. But Greyson is uniquely talented for his age & knows how to ROCK! Yeah, I pretty much agree with the reviewer, but I really like Cody and feel kind of bad seeing adults put him down even though that's part of the business. I actually like him a lot more than I did when I first heard that iYiYi song when they released it. I still think that Greyson's pure talent far outshines Cody's, but he is talented as well and you never know how things will turn out. Grownups4greyson, One reason that I really wanted to see Greyson perform now was that if he really becomes successful, ticket prices (if you can get a ticket) will really go up; and more importantly, he will be playing larger, less personal venues. Half the fun in watching Greyson perform is being close enough to see him really get into the number -- he’s at the piano and his whole body is moving to the music When he’s really into a piece like that, he’s not just an artist singing a song -- he is the song. It’s something you don’t see in other young performers or a lot of adult artists for that matter. P.S. I actually had ear plugs with me in Milwaukee, but couldn't find them at the end when I really needed them. I definitely agree with you on this one. I got him to sign that ticket from the Miranda Cosgrove show and I can totally see one day being able to say that I saw him when his name wasn't even on the ticket.

Yeah, I got that comment and I think that person is right b/c it does make more sense. However, I am willing to change my mind if others think I am now just hearing what I am telling myself to hear.
