I was going to post this in a reply on another thread but I got more into detail with it so I figured I would finish it here. I wonder how many songs and which ones are going to be on the album? WOTL might not be sense it was already released twice, or three including the remix. I only bring it up because I just was looking at my iTunes filtered to only Greyson and there's 11 studio or good recordings of songs. With the exception of Heart Like Stone. I don't have Past on there either. And one of those is WOTL. So there might only be a few more songs that we don't know of, depending on how many the album will have. What do you guys think about Fire, Paparazzi, and WOTL? Do you think they will be on Hold on Til The Night? I'm thinking the track list will go something like, -Unfriend You -Light Up The Dark -Within The Lights -Broken heart -Summer train -Empire State of Mind -Heart Like Stone -Past -Purple Sky And one more that we don't know yet. Im thinking that because I don't think it will have 12-15 songs, maybe 10. But I sure hope I am wrong Also im not even sure about Past and Within the Lights as hes never even performed them other then one time a while back. Just kind of an open discussion about your thoughts on the album

That looks like a comprehensive list of all the songs that we know about with the exception of "Stars."
I agree with you that I don't see Fire or Paparazzi being on it. I also don't see Empire State of Mind being on it mostly due to the fact that it doesn't really fit into the theme of "heartbreak." Also, I don't know that I can see them putting a cover on there though I would like to hear a studio version of it.
I think Waiting Outside the Lines presents the most interesting question. I can see it fitting with the theme, but not really. I think I agree with your gut feeling, djtiny, that it won't be on there. However, it is the song that he has been playing at all of his appearances and he has a minor hit w/ it at least among the target demographic. Still, he has plenty of time to release and promote a second single so I am going with no right now.

Yeah, it pretty much is But he I can only assume that sense those are the songs he has been performing, that they will be on his first album. Of course after Hold on Til The Night it will be a bit harder. But right now this is all we have to work with

I would expect "Purple Sky" to be on it. I thought I was familiar with the story of "Purple Sky", but I've never heard it or seen it posted anywhere. Wasn't it some type of Charity release? Anyone know where I can find it?

Here is the interview (around 4:17 the discussion starts) --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=TeKGJqV3ZcA

To me "before school" means early August, but this last year her first show of the season was at the VMAs which was in mid-September. I guess they might just release it and then wait for him to be on Ellen to bump the sales a few weeks after release, but that's something to think about.

Based on that ClevverTV interview from yesterday we now can add "Hold on 'Til the Night" to the track listing.

Daphne (member) recommended this French fansite to me. www.greyson-chance.fr/hold-ontil-the-night-le-premier-album-de-greyson-chance.htmlThis is the News page about HOTN. Non-French speakers can still see much of interest. They speculate a double CD with 5th Sept as release date and "Cody Simpson, Nick Jonas et Charice seront les guest-stars de cet album". If they are proved right, I'll follow them for more news. duckbiter

There's some interesting speculation on there. I'm not sure if I'd agree that they'll throw all his tracks into a double album - perhaps they'd prefer to keep a few songs for his second album? In particular, I think they're speculating that there could be tracks with Cody, Nick Jonas, and Charice on the album, which I think might be premature. That 5th September date is their calculation of the latest possible release date for the album based on the US school calendar ("Selon nous calcul, l’album sortira donc avant le 5 Septembre." - my emphasis).
Anyway, we'll see...!
