Hey all Greyson Chance fans! My name is Lee. I run the GreysonChanceFans web site and YouTube all by myself. (See links below) I started the first Greyson Chance fan web site on May 11th, 2010 shortly after I saw his video Paparazzi on MSNBC and was SO impressed I decided I wanted to help promote and support him in any way I could, especially after hearing the haunting and emotional "Stars" and simple "Broken Hearts" that reminded me personally of Elton John and Billy Joel. See the first posts I made on the fansite here: greysonchancefans.com/whats-new/?currentPage=52This was before he got that call from Ellen Degeneres! Of course after that I knew I had discovered a future star! Two weeks later, May 29th 2010, I created a YouTube account to support, promote and share everything I could find for of his fans. Since then I have over 250 videos about Greyson either linked or uploaded and almost 800,000 views on those uploads... I had the honor to meet Greyson at the Orlando venue at Hard Rock last February while he was on tour with Miranda Cosgrove and let me tell you he is SO sincere and real and genuinely thanked me for all the hard work saying that he visits the fan site regularly. So in some small way I hope I have made a difference...I think Greyson believes so I hope to meet him again next week when he and Cody hit Orlando at the House of Blues May 3rd... Or perhaps when he visits Harry Potter World as well (: Anyways tell us how you got to know about Greyson! Greysonites Unite! Long live Greysonmania!

Hello Im from Massachusetts and I was kind of late getting on board, I only actually found out about Greyson in December but ever sence then I have been obsessed. It's kind of funny how I came to find him, I was actually looking for a specific Just Bieber video on a site similar to YouTube and I saw the Paparazzi video but didn't think much about it and continued my search. I then ended up on YouTube watching the video I was looking for and when it was done I noticed the same thumbnail I saw on the other site so I decided to click it and watch the whole thing. Well, I think you all know what happened from there ;D I've been to a performance of W4U and hopefully will be going to see him next time he is around here with Miranda Cosgrove on Dancing Crazy.

Okayyy so my first name's Amber. most people dont know that because i use GreysonStation for everything now. I had seen Greyson on Ellen the second time but i wasnt really a fan until December because i never had a computer until i got a laptop for Christmas. i was on youtube Christmas Day and stumbled upon some of Greysons videos, then i watched almost all of them, and read some articles about him onn the internet. I saw a video by some of his fans and i noticed they all had fan twitters so i decided i would make one too, so after thinking for a while i came up with the name GreysonStation.Ive been obsessed ever since.Greyson is like my life,he is such a great role-model and inspiration.i love him.;) ¢¾

I know I saw it on Youtube but I can't find it now. It may have been the uncut version of a shorter interview. Any help would be appreciated. I have a good reason for trying to locate this video. Thanks.

Greetings, I have known the Chance's for several years. My oldest daughter grew up with Alexa and my youngest used to play with Greyson all the time. Anytime he was at our house he would be singing something. They would always put on plays or productions of something and want us to watch. he was never shy, always bouncing around and i don't know if I ever saw him without a smile on his face. He actually performed one night and my wife and I said watch one day he will be a star, kiddingly but look what happened he was about 5 at the time. My oldest daughter was at Alexa's house one day and they did a video production where Greyson sang Proud to Be an American. You can check out my daughters video on Youtube. I have the entire production that I will post one day just haven't had the time. Anyways, what a great family and it is such a pleasure to watch him grow in music. We wish them the best. I am so glad he has all of you suporting him. He is truly a natural and very creative. the best is yet to come.

Probably about time I get around to doing this.
My name is Meredith for those of you that don't know.
I saw Greyson's "Paparazzi" video late the night before it really went viral after seeing it posted on some blog. I still have the email I sent to a bunch of my friends before I went to bed titled "This Kid Has Talent!" I remember that I almost didn't click on the link b/c I was not a Lady Gaga fan and honestly just thought it was going to be some cute kid impersonating her or something. However, I am so glad that I decided to watch it. I can't tell you how many times I watched that video that next day b/c it truly blew me away. Of course, it was his voice (thee is no denying that), but a lot of people have great voices. For me, it was more the way he sang the song. So much passion and enthusiasm. He really got into the song and that really showed and impressed me for his being so young.
However, I soon was drawn to the "Stars" video. Seeing somebody that young sing about such an "adult" topic was a little strange, I must say, but his ability to write lyrics like that and to try and tackle a subject that deep at his age was truly impressive.
I have pretty much kept up with him from day 1, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him.
EDIT: I also want to think everybody for joining the forum and for helping make it a great place so far. I also want to especially thank djtiny and Lee for their help with things as I've worked to get this thing started up. If you have any suggestions/complaints/requests/questions, etc. please just send me a message. You can send it to mapender or to Admin, but I tend to check my personal messages more often.

On another note.. speaking of Paul McCartney - he has been an idle (along with the Beatles) since I was a kid... I became a musician (drummer first later a bassist) because of the Beatles after I discovered them in late 1962 before they became famous. I bought "Introducing The Beatles" on the Vee Jay label and lo and behold in 1963 Capitol signed them and the rest is history. I played is several bands starting in 1964 (garage lol) and later played bass in the 1970s in several bands. Recently I purchased a Hofner Beatles bass and love playing to all the Beatles songs. I also play the PS3 Game "Beatles Rock Band" and rank high on the vocals (playing the instruments is not the same as playing real ones so i avoid those lol) I saw Paul live in 1965 with the Beatles at the Atlanta stadium and I remember being upset because of all the screaming fans that drowned out most of the music! In 1975 I saw Paul live with Wings, again in 1996 and more recently in 2005 an awesome show here in Florida. Perhaps if Paul knew Greyson wanted to do a collab or anything at all who knows he might be interested?? THAT would be awesome! And Greyson, not since I discovered the Beatles have I become so impressed and (dare I say) obsessed with anyone else Paul rocks! Greyson rocks!

Pretty much that entire post makes me incredibly jealous. I am not an obsessed Beatles fan, but I have more than a healthy respect and admiration for their body of work. I was fortunate enough to see Paul here in Atlanta some time when I was in high school (The Driving Rain Tour - whenever that was). He played here a year or so ago again and I somehow talked myself out of going b/c it was the night before my first day of classes and I had already moved back out to Athens for the year. That was pretty dumb on my part, b/c it is only a little over an hour drive. A drive I am making tomorrow to see a 13 year old play 7 songs.
Lee, are you going tonight?

Apparently both Cody and Greyson have been sick lately but you would no idea because they hit it out of the park. I got lots of video, however my first use with the Sony Bloggie I had some trouble keeping focus and the quality is 1080P but the sound initially on first listen without downloading sounds distorted in places...I will know more once I download them and import them into Adobe Premiere Pro tomorrow night There was no meet and greet but I did happen to meet Willy Beaman briefly (the keyboardist) I will do a full review later... You must be going to University of Georgia? I think Georgia State is in Atlanta (I used to live in Atlanta back in the early mid 60s and later in the mid late 70s)

The venue wouldn't allow it I guess, when I went. As they had another show like 2 hours or something after W4U. >_> (I went to the Foxboro (Boston) performance)

And Greyson, not since I discovered the Beatles have I become so impressed and (dare I say) obsessed with anyone else Paul rocks! Greyson rocks! I lived on Merseyside, England during the '60s. I saw The Beatles at The Cavern, a dingy dive in Liverpool. They went over to Hamburg in Germany, a cosmopolitan seaport city not unlike Liverpool with its seamen on leave, prostitutes drugs etc. A lively place. Their first international success. The Cavern Club is now something of a tourist trap, beloved by Japanese people with fantastic cameras. Then suddenly it all took off. "VIRAL", its current usage 40 years in the future, is the only way to describe it. It was shocking in its intensity. London, posh and pompous, was briefly eclipsed by Liverpool's trendy Fab Foursome. I guess you know the rest. My last personal (sort of) contact with a Beatle was more recent. My sister lives about 5 minute's drive from (one of) Paul McCartney's homes in Heswall, Merseyside. Also frequented by rich business people, drug dealers and soccer stars. In 2008 Heather Mills and Paul parted acrimoniously. I was driving past his house one day and was amazed to see dozens of paparazzi, cameras, sound equipment and satellite dishes in the road. All there merely on the off chance that he might arrive. He didn't. I think you pay a price for superstardom. My favourite Beatles songs. Sgt Pepper. The whole music industry was GOBSMACKED (Liverpool idiom) when this came out. I Wanna Hold Your Hand. An early song epitomising the simple genius of The Beatles. Incidentally, this is the song on the earliest video of a performance by Greyson. Which happens to be my absolute favourite of ALL his videos. So charming. He plays it like it was a Mozart minuet!

Hi, everyone! My name is Niki, I'm fourteen years old.'kira' is a nickname from the Death Note manga. Oh, and I'm from Hungary. I've learnt English more seriously for about four years. I'm sorry if I say unintelligible things in the future, cos my English not always perfect. I've hit upon Greyson Chance, when I was boring and I saw Lady Gaga's Paparazzi on youtube. And I noticed his video called ' Paparazzi: Lady Gaga covered by 11-year-old boy' on the right. I love his voice so much, and he is helping me, cos I always singing to my friends his songs and other songs. He's songs not too difficult and I practise a lot with these n Guns N roses songs too. But I've got a stage fright without numerous audience. My friends -of course-encourage me, but I think I'm too shy. Yet. My dream is one day I'll be a famous singer like Greyson or bigger than he. I hope, I was understandable.

Hi Kira
Your English is very good and perfectly understandable. It is so pleasing to see fans from different countries joining the Forum.
Music is an INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE. If you look on the list of members you will see the name daphnechance. She is a French girl (speaks English) who I made friends with while commenting on a GC video. Click on "members" to see her bio (yours is there also) then go to her YouTube channel.
Her banner says "A life without music is a life without happiness ....(:" - imo so true.
For stage fright Greyson advises people to BITE THE BULLET! an English phrase which means to face difficulties without fear. AND he has a bullet on a necklace which he *bites* before every show.
So welcome to the Forum. Any problems, ask mapender. She is very kind.
