Hayden just tweeted saying he has been preparing for asia with Greyson. I am assuming that if he's going he will be accompanied by the rest of the band also. Im not sure about Willy though...is he still touring with DEMI? Yup, sounds like no Willie from Hayden's tweets. He essentially answered our question yesterday --> twitter.com/#!/HaydenMaringer/status/179439508729765888 Hayden Maringer @haydenmaringer Its going to be one KILLING band, excited to play with you all, see ya in a few weeks @jamaljmoore @evanmarien @danefarnsworth

Somebody was asking me yesterday to help her with her entry on that site. Of course, I couldn't be much help since I didn't register myself.
However, I asked around on Twitter and found out from somebody that there is an age restriction and that they have some strange requirement of having to get a parents SSN or have them pay $1 of something like that. Something about making sure that the parents are monitoring their kids on the site. Anyway, that prevented a lot of people from participating apparently.
The video that Greyson advertises this with is pretty cool though. Behind the scenes with him in the studio.

When I first listened to it I thought it was good. But now I just can't stop listening to it! He is so talented and has a BEAUTIFUL voice! Love his cover!(: This was pretty much my reaction as well. I liked it, but the more I watch the video the more I like it. In fact, the song was actually stuck in my head for a few days after he first posted it. It takes a lot of guts to cover Sinatra and especially to choose his signature song. The fact that the response has been mostly positive speaks to Greyson's talent. I think it is cool that he is a Sinatra fan. I went through a big Sinatra phase a few years ago and every once in a while get the urge to put on some Ol' Blue Eyes. However, Greyson really needs to tweet the link to this video. It's been up a week or so now and only has 18,000 views. He did RT the ETonline link to it, but hasn't tweeted the actual link IIRC. A lot of people who subscribe to the greyson97 channel will have missed it b/c when it was made public it would have been put in date order on their list of new uploads and since it was uploaded in early February that would probably be way down on their list.

Hey, I've seen Elton John sell out and play arenas with just him and the piano. It was mostly b/c of the size of the venues that I pretty much assumed that he'd be playing with the band. I like it when he does both in a show so hopefully he'll do some acoustic songs as well as the standard ones with the band. (Being the expert that I am in all things music, he needs to play HIIYE acoustically ) Even though it is on the other side of the world, it is great how much coverage we get of his events over there and I hope it is just as much as the first trip.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. I think it would work great as a single.

In general, I don't like the new Timeline feature as well. I was a freshmen in college the year FB started and have seen it go through every major change thus far. The timeline hasn't been as controversial as the newsfeed, but I haven't heard anybody say that they actually like it.
I switched the TTN FB page (which we are barely using at the moment) to Timeline and it seems that people can still post comments on there (http://www.facebook.com/TilTheNight). I don't look at Greyson's FB page much, but interesting observation. Maybe they just want all of the things that they are promoting to remain at the top?
In general, they do seem to update things on FB before they update them on the official site, but that isn't always true either.

This makes a lot of sense. I know some of the early links we had to sites selling the CD mentioned a promo trip to Hong Kong (I think it was HK). I had been thinking that they were making an awfully long trip for just a few dates and couldn't believe that they wouldn't be doing more stuff over in that part of the world. Hopefully Greyson and the band and everybody get to do some touristy things over there and enjoy some of the culture. They're certainly spending enough time in these places; one would think they would be able to work in some sight-seeing. Do we know for sure that Greyson's band is actually going with him -- at least for the 4 concerts? Anyone read a tweet from a member? I guess the only reason that I thought the band was going was b/c Hayden RTed Greyson's announcement about the tour and said "For those that have been asking" or something like that. Now that I think about it, I guess that isn't any kind of indication at all. I had just gotten the impression for some reason. Anybody else "heard" anything from the band members indicating that they will be headed over there with Greyson? I am a person that LOVES to travel, so I always see these things about people going overseas and wonder how they can go all the way over there and not try and see and do it all. However, I would see a trip to Asia as a once in a lifetime kind of thing and I doubt that will be the case for Greyson

Does anyone know where I can download Running Away? I can't find it anywhere! Unfortunately, the only way to get a legal copy of "Running Away" is to get a copy of the HOTTN Asia Special Edition or to get a copy of HOTTN that was released in The Philippines. There is no way to download it legally in any country. We here on the forum do not support the distribution of illegal copies of officially released material, but at the moment that is how most people have a copy of the song. When we finally get our act together and get everything updated and running on the sites, we will be giving away some copies of HOTTN (at least that is the plan)! So, check back and you can get the song that way!

It's ok thanks anyways! Are you able to make one of the video he just posted of him singing "My Way"-Frank Sinatra (: That we can do! I have uploaded it and added it to the "Individual Songs" thread. Once again, please let me know if it doesn't work.

Thanks for the link, arwelp! I do really hope that Greyson premieres some new songs when he plays in Asia. I mean, I would LOVE to hear new songs, but he could even just pull out some songs off of HOTTN that he doesn't play much or rework a song or two just to change things up some. I guess these are legit concerts (rather than showcases) and so you'd assume as the headliner that he'd play at least an hour and a half. Does anybody know how long JB plays at his shows? I am so used to concerts where the headliner plays 2.5 hours or more that I am not sure what would be normal for somebody as young/new as Greyson. I've actually thought that Greyson has been gaining a lot of momentum w/r/t Cody though like you've guys said that is mostly overseas. There is no question that Cody is more popular here in the U.S. Of course, I'm pretty much judging this from Twitter and watching how quickly Greyson is gaining followers. Is he really playing 4,000 seat venues? That is totally bizarre (in a "I'm so happy for him" way). I know retiredone was saying that tickets are selling pretty well over there. I would love to see him play to that many of his fans, so I hope we get a lot of great videos both from official sources and from all you guys who are going. I have no idea how Greyson's next U.S. tour will go. Opening for somebody big would probably be the best way to gain new fans, but I would prefer he play small venues as the headliner b/c it sucks paying to see him play for only 30 minutes. What can I say, I'm selfish Also, since I haven't been on a lot lately (it is tax season and I have to do this thing called "work"), I thought I'd just let people know that we are getting pretty close to revealing the changes that we've made. It is going to be a slight pain for everybody at first, but should make things so much better in the future. djtiny and I seemed to pick the right moment to do all of this since there hasn't been that much Greyson news lately, but hopefully everything will go well and we will be back full throttle for Greyson's big April!

Ok, so it was Springsteen week all week on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Last night Bruce and the E Street Band were on for the entire episode and even though this is coming from the ultimate fangirl, it was fantastic! Everybody should watch this. This fully demonstrates why I love Bruce. He goes on late night TV and plays a little known song from 1973 (pre Born to Run and everything) and totally brings the house down. He includes the house band (The Roots) as well as all four million members of the E Street band and his friend Tom Morello who is the lead guitarist from Rage Against the Machine. Anyway, everybody should at least watch this video --> www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/blogs/2012/03/bruce-springsteen-performs-e-street-shuffle/Here are the other videos if anybody is interested in them including one where Jimmy Fallon (as Neil Young) and Bruce from 1984 cover LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" --> ultimateclassicrock.com/bruce-springsteen-rocks-late-night-with-jimmy-fallon/

I'll perfectly fit within the stereotype of girls here, but I am so not a car person. As long as it drives and has a auxiliary jack for my iPod to play through the speakers I am happy.
I think if I ever had tons of money, my thing would be property. I love houses and stuff.
