That's great! I really didn't think that he'd be releasing something until early next year at the earliest, but I am certainly not complaining.
I don't think that he has ever played "Running Away" live, but it is definitely one I am eagerly looking forward to hearing.
I haven't gotten a chance to watch the videos yet, but you've got to assume that he is referencing Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks". Maybe I am wrong, but that seems like what the clue would point to. I'd definitely be interested to hear his take on it if that is the song he is talking about. Of course, I'm not sure how a song about a kid going on a killing spree will go over, but I think it is cool he isn't shying away from a controversial topic (if that is the song he is talking about).

Can I be more jealous of this guy (Greyson, I mean)?! Also, did you guys know that McCartney was in another band before Wings?

Ok, did a little more research. He is going to be there via skype.... Here is the site w/ the story, but it is a kind of sketchy site --> sfluxe.com/2012/04/06/4-chance-of-a-lifetime-omg-news/Here's what it says...
FOR fans of teen pop singer Greyson Chance, be a part of “Greyson Day” tomorrow noon, at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Ground Floor, Highstreet Entrance in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Organised by Universal Music Malaysia, Greyson fans will be treated to a live chat with the singer on Skype, besides receiving autographed giveaways such as bunting, posters and albums, courtesy of the music label and Hitz.fm. Fans can also stand a chance to meet their idol in person during a separate fans gathering session on April 15. Be sure to bring or purchase his debut repack album Hold On ’Till The Night Special Asia Edition (CD+DVD) to gain a chance at a lucky draw. Grab the chance to virtually meet Greyson Chance and take away autographed goodies. Winners of the lucky draw will then get a once-in-a-life-time chance to meet the singer. Alternatively, fans can also purchase a T-shirt and get two chances at the lucky draw. Meanwhile, fans can also register their Facebook fan page at the Universal Music Malaysia counter tomorrow. Participants who manage to recruit the most number of fans through their fan pages will be certified as the Official Greyson Chance MY Fan Page. The 14-year-old music prodigy is quickly becoming a household name in the country, following a successful promotional tour here, packing out venues in both Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu last year. But for those who have yet to catch the singer live in action, Chance will be performing once again at KL Live, Jalan Sultan Ismail on April 17, 8.30pm. Tickets, priced at RM188, RM138 and RM88, can be purchased at the event tomorrow or at Rock Corner, The Guitar Store and Victoria Music Centre outlets, and KL Live. All purchases will be entitled to a 20% discount.

Here is a twitvideo of Jamal Moore rehearsing "Unfriend You" for the upcoming tour. For those that are into drumming or just cool behind the scenes stuff. www.twitvid.com/2EABV
From what I can tell thus far from Twitter is looks like we've got: Jamal Moore - Drums Hayden Maringer - Guitar Evan Marien - Bass Dane Farnsworth - Keyboards Also, Evan Marien just tweeted something about listening to Paul McCartney rehearsing so that is cool.

Yeah, I don't know much about them, but it looks like this generation of teenagers is into the boy bands like my generation was. There really haven't been any prominent ones that I can think of since the late 1990s and early 2000s with the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, 98 Degrees, etc. Seems like they are making a comeback right now though. Of course, the standard boy band formula goes back decades and One Direction, Big Time Rush and all of those are just the lucky ones cashing in at the moment. I do think it is ridiculous how some fans think that they can only be devoted to one band/artist and have to choose and then there is all this rivalry between fans and whatnot. Kind of funny to me. Greyson has his fair share of fans for sure, but if he wants the whole teen idol status with the hoards of girls everywhere he goes, he is just going to have to wait. For the most part, you aren't going to have 15, 16, 17 year old girls "falling in love" with a 14 year old. I know at that age those one or two years makes a huge difference and Greyson only being 14 just keeps a lot of people from taking him seriously. The kid has so much talent though, he'll have a long and lucrative career in music if that is what he wants. As for One Direction, I appreciate that they are at least somewhat talented compared to what I've seen from a couple of the other boy bands. I went through my phase though, so I think I'll just stick with the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC.

I have been so busy working, that I haven't gotten to update everybody on all things Bruce. I know you all are SO disappointed. There have been a lot of great things so far this tour, but I thought this video from last night was worth sharing. This is what is so great about going to see Bruce. The minute he steps on the stage he truly is "The Boss" and does whatever the hell he wants and just expects the band, lighting people, instrument techs, soundboard guys, audience, etc. to be on their toes and follow his lead. Last night they did a cover of "Raise Your Hand" in Philly while Bruce decides to take a stroll through the crowd, stop the song and take a break in a fan's seat and finish off his beer, then stand back up and continue the song. Check out the video. It is a lot of fun.

Just a few more moths for it to grow out and some bleach and he could be the third member of Jedward. He is too cute.

Sorry, I don't like any of them! I'm not really into all that stuff. I am not a big fantasy person either, but I read all three of them to see what all the hype was about. What kind of books do you like? Nothing will top Harry Potter for me. Part of that being the way I grew up with the books and movies. If you think about it, the first book was released in 1997 when I was 11 and I saw the last movie when I was 25. That is a huge chunk of my life and something that will be unique for us who lived through the release of them all. Part of the fun was having to wait for the next release and going at midnight to get it and then read it all the next day or two. A small part of all of that is lost when you can just sit down and read all 7 books or watch all 8 movies at one time. I enjoyed Twilight, but not nearly as much as HP. Bella is pretty pathetic and I don't get the hype over Rob Pattinson or Taylor Lautner. I could only get through the first two movies and haven't had the desire to watch the rest yet. Only had a chance to read the first Hunger Games book, but it was much better than Twilight. Still haven't seen the movie, but hopefully will once April 17th is over with. People seem to like it, so I'm excited.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. It is obviously a male solo artist.
I was actually pretty surprised that Greyson didn't do more of the Jingle Balls over the holiday season.

Since The Hunger Games is all the rage at the moment, I was wondering what others thought of the relatively recent phenomenons. You can base your vote on the books, the movies, or whatever you want. Vote for your favorite, but rank them in the comments. I'd be interested to see what others think.
For me...

I finally got around to checking it out (had to do a little fibbing to register on the site). I doubt Greyson's team would endorse a site that is obviously a scam, but at the same time it does require a parent to confirm their identity by giving their name, birthdate, address and either the last 4 digits of a SSN or a payment of $1 by credit card.
I'm glad that they want to be careful in running their website for kids, but that is a lot of personal info to have to give out.
Anyway, since nobody has gotten around to posting it, here is the behind the scenes video that Greyson shot to advertise the contest.
