It's almost sad the difference in publicity Greyson gets on the other side of the world then from where he's from, I guess a lot people in the US/North America are just not as enthusiastic. Hah, quite a low blow to Willow Smith, Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber. Can't complain, but just the same On the topic of the 'tour', I don't know about others but I really don't consider this trip to Asia to be a 'Tour'. Waiting 4 U was a Tour, Dancing Crazy was a Tour. But either way, it doesn't really matter Oh, and I was always assuming he would perform (I just typed 'perfume') a new song during this trip, and it appears I might be right, ""There may be a new song," is all he would say." I'm kind of hoping for 'Love a Little Louder', I just have a feeling that's going to be a good song.

There are just too many adult, multi-platinum recording artists, not to mention movie stars, for the entertainment media to cover in this country. He does seem to get his fair share of coverage in teen magazines and on the numerous I-net sites. I too, assumed that Greyson would have at least one new song for the Asian tour. One would hope that he had 2 or 3, or even 4, for his summer US tour -- as Cody Simpson did for his “Welcome To Paradise” tour. I wonder if Greyson will headline his US tour or just open for someone else. One gets the impression that Cody Simpson is doing better than Greyson -- selling out venues, etc. When you look at actual music sales, however, that really doesn’t appear to be the case. Position and time on the charts for their last CD’s were pretty much the same. Happened to check Amazon today for sales positions and Greyson’s HOTTN CD was #5603, while Cody’s "Coast to Coast" was #16590. Even Greyson's WOTL EP was #8022. For the MP3 version Greyson still led #4541 to #11283.. While I too, would like to hear “Love A Little Louder," I’m anxious to hear the “old school” song he and Arianna Grande wrote and recorded together this past week -- anything that takes me back to my youth!

Cody's venues that he sold out on his recent tour in the US only held 600 to 1,200 people. Greyson is playing four concert dates in Asia with venues holding 4,000. That's a big difference. The reason you hear so much about Cody right now is that he is being heavily promoted in the US and doing US tours. He doesn't do anything overseas. At least not yet.

Exactly, Greyson could probably sell out any venue he goes to in Asia. I havn't heard all too much about Cody, except today I did hear a commercial on a mainstream radio station announcing that Big Time Rush will be coming to the area with Cody. Which of course my friend asked me to bring her to. I guess I am stuck bringing her to every concert I go to now, haha, ever since I brought her with me to see Greyson on the Dancing Crazy Tour. Although we won't be able to have the same kind of experience as we did when we saw Greyson because that was probably a once in a life time thing that happened there (You can read about my experience in this thread.) I honestly prefer Greyson over Cody though.

Thanks for the link, arwelp! I do really hope that Greyson premieres some new songs when he plays in Asia. I mean, I would LOVE to hear new songs, but he could even just pull out some songs off of HOTTN that he doesn't play much or rework a song or two just to change things up some. I guess these are legit concerts (rather than showcases) and so you'd assume as the headliner that he'd play at least an hour and a half. Does anybody know how long JB plays at his shows? I am so used to concerts where the headliner plays 2.5 hours or more that I am not sure what would be normal for somebody as young/new as Greyson. I've actually thought that Greyson has been gaining a lot of momentum w/r/t Cody though like you've guys said that is mostly overseas. There is no question that Cody is more popular here in the U.S. Of course, I'm pretty much judging this from Twitter and watching how quickly Greyson is gaining followers. Is he really playing 4,000 seat venues? That is totally bizarre (in a "I'm so happy for him" way). I know retiredone was saying that tickets are selling pretty well over there. I would love to see him play to that many of his fans, so I hope we get a lot of great videos both from official sources and from all you guys who are going. I have no idea how Greyson's next U.S. tour will go. Opening for somebody big would probably be the best way to gain new fans, but I would prefer he play small venues as the headliner b/c it sucks paying to see him play for only 30 minutes. What can I say, I'm selfish Also, since I haven't been on a lot lately (it is tax season and I have to do this thing called "work"), I thought I'd just let people know that we are getting pretty close to revealing the changes that we've made. It is going to be a slight pain for everybody at first, but should make things so much better in the future. djtiny and I seemed to pick the right moment to do all of this since there hasn't been that much Greyson news lately, but hopefully everything will go well and we will be back full throttle for Greyson's big April!

DJTiny, Cody is actually opening for all of BTR's shows this summer. I'm getting tickets to the Hershey show. I think you and the other adult Greyson fans would like this video below of Cody, BTR, and Rachel Crow (Opening for select dates) singing tThe Beatles, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" at radio station last Tuesday.I love Greyson and Cody, but I think Greyson's music is a lot more meaningful than Cody. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNQxizvzsMo&list=FLWdt0uL2J9OkGck4X15adGg&feature=mh_lolz

Not sure why Cody isn't with them, maybe just something with scheduling. But BTR will be up here ('here' being Massachusetts) again in August and September with Cody And building on what Mapender mentioned, YES we are really excited to reveal what we have been working on. I at least think you all will like it. P.S. I'm not an adult ;D Just slightly older then most fans.

I guess these are legit concerts (rather than showcases) and so you'd assume as the headliner that he'd play at least an hour and a half. I just took a look at the SisTic website for the Singapore concert, and it says "Duration approx 1 hr 15 mins". It also says "no photography, video recording or audio recording is allowed" but I hope we get to see something from the performance!

Wow that's odd, usually it's just no flash photography. I am sure people will still record anyway

I too, have noticed that Greyson is adding twitter followers at an increasing rate. Cody use to lead in that regard by over 450,000, but now it's down to 360,000. If my memory serves me right, Greyson added about 8,000 just in the last day or two.
I guess we all seem to think that Cody is probably more popular here in the US, but I have seen nothing in terms of record sales that would bear that out -- as I mentioned in a previous post. I guess we really won't know that until Greyson headlines his own shows at some of the same venues Cody has recently performed at.
4000 seats? That's the smallest venue he will play in Asia. If you google KL Live, the numbers given for standing room run from 2,500 to 4,000. The next larger venue on the list appears to be Jitec in Jakarta which can hold up to 6500. That's the one I reported on earlier where tickets seem to be going really well. SIS in Singapore can hold 7,000-8,000 for concerts, while the venue in Manila can hold 2-3 times that depending on how it's set up. Hopefully, he will have a respectable crowd for all 4 shows. The Manila venue almost seems way too large.
I agree; it does suck when Greyson opens for someone else and only does about half an hour.

Wow, That Manila venue must be huge! I'll be interested to know how many of the venues he sells out. And if what arwelp mentioned is true about an hour and 15 minute long set, there has to be a new song or two in there. Just looking at my folder of Greyson music, which has every song we know about including un-official ones (Past, etc.) it reads an hour and 20 minutes. Getting exited
