Well, we're all fans of Greyson (I came across him when Sky News showed the Paparazzi video), but I wonder if you've come across any other promising young artists you'd like to bring to others' attention. I've since come across two boys on YouTube who are, I think, both 11 years old at the moment, and both already have albums on iTunes. The first is Anthony Gargiula. He's from somewhere around Albany, NY, I believe, and has made something of a speciality of his rendition of the US National Anthem at sports events - he first came to prominence when he was 7 with this performance which now has had 4.5 million views www.youtube.com/watch?v=sR2rvxSUr7w, and he soon appeared on Ellen de Generes' show Here's a charity performance he and his dance crew did earlier this year www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOHFFHLhQTE, the track is off his album "Finally Done". The second is a Mexican boy called Alan Wheeler (formally Alan Wheeler Ayala), from Monterrey - his dad's American, and he sings in both Spanish and English. He seems to have already had a fair TV career as part of a group "Los Ruppis" who appeared on Monterrey TV, before they broke up as they got "older"! He's got a very extensive presence on YouTube as "alanwheelermusic" - here's a tv performance from last week www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rokh3jOjwJ8&NR=1, and a "making of" video for his version of Busted's old hit "Sleeping With the Light On" www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXr4fD81lJY&NR=1. Alan's album is "Prestame AtenciĆ³n".

I never heard of either of them, but Anthony's Game Over is actually really good I've come across a few myself, Not sure what this kids name is, but his youtube name is ajisil. I don't necesarily like his style, but hes still good. I found him of course, by seeing this video- www.youtube.com/watch?v=77vuT3aMYHo&feature=channel_video_titleAlso I just recently saw Jordan Jansen, his pretty good, his only original I think is the one that is the 'featured video' on his page. Hes unsigned, but with all the publicity he has had I think he will be soon, he also might be on the way to, he talks about his 'US Management team' in one of the videos. (He's Australian) www.youtube.com/user/jordanjansenmusic?blend=1&ob=5

Also, Most people here probably know who Charice is, and I just heard her 'Pyramid', it's really good! Not a huge fan of her other work though.

He definitely has the look for pop success and he has a "pretty" voice much like how I'd describe Cody's voice. To me, there is no power and definition like you hear when Greyson sings.

I think many if not everyone here knows who Michael and Marisa are? Well I can't say much for their live performances and I'm not too fond of their songs, however I really like this one.
The just put out there second ( I think? ) music video a few days ago-

No offense intended, but these other kid artists are obviously marketed to their target audience. Which is fine. But seeing this just makes me appreciate how truly unique Greyson's talent is. All these kids have some talent, but I, as an older male, would not be interested in following their careers. For me personally, hearing about Greyson via talk radio, seeing the Papparazzi vid, then on Ellen, I feel his talent and his meteoric rise is Divinely Inspired. The unique tonal qualities of Greyson's voice remind me of that special quality that The Beatle's harmonies, or Karen Carpenter's Voice had. There is something really special there that you just have to listen to.

Yep, they opened for the performance of W4U! I was at (Foxboro MA) aswell, that's where I first heard of them. And yes, Greyson was much better in my opinion, of course. But I do like that one song by them. Also, something funny, at the show I was at, the entire crowed thought it was Greyson who walked out in the dark, only to have the cheering and applause suddenly stop when the lights came up. And by this time the crowed was already a bit tired of waiting seeing as the show started late, and there were four opening acts.

Hi:) I agree with you guys Greyson is my favorite young artist and artist overall, but these are some YouTube kids I think have a lot of potential Brandon Evans... He does pop music and he just had a single out. I like it a lot and I think he's got an amazing voice. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PussY8Vn56c&feature=mfu_in_order&list=ULAnd then another is Alec LaBelle. He's an acoustic singer/songwriter. His voice is not like Greyson's at all, but it's a whole different style of music I guess.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=PussY8Vn56c&feature=mfu_in_order&list=ULI like this topic & I'm checking out all the videos you guys posted(: I don't think we'll find anyone with Greyson's talent anytime soon though hahahhaha

He is not quite as young as some of the artists we've been discussing, but I think we should mention the second kid that Ellen signed. Tom Andrews is going to be debuting his first single called "Carry Me On" on Ellen on May 17th (a few days before Greyson is on). Tom hasn't captured me quite like Greyson has, but he does have a good voice. Here is "Carry Me On" --> www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohylC9p3gSYEdit: Hey Brittany, thanks for the suggestions! You actually posted the Brandon Evans video twice and not one of Alec LaBelle. Welcome to the forum!

Ah, Tom Andrews, YES! He's got some great tracks up on YouTube. So "Carry Me On"'s going to be his first single? Excellent news. Must say I'm not too keen on his latest hair style/colouration, but that's kids for you (I'm rather dismayed as I get older to find out I'm turning into my father!) - I'll just close my eyes and listen to the music..

Djitny, I saw Micheal and Marissa when they did a show with Greyson near my house. There is a video on Youtube of Micheal singing Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" half of the related videos were Greyson. The libnk to the video is below. Some of them were just random Greyson stuff like him singing at Billboard. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHLBpccqHAg&feature=channel_video_title
