Greyson kicks off his Summer 2011 Tour tomorrow at the Taste of Chicago. I figured I'd start a thread where we can compile all of our discussions about the shows. If you go to a show, please tell us all about your experience and share any videos or pictures you might have taken. Check out the "Events" page on 'Til the Night for the full list of Greyson's upcoming shows.

I'll be at one of the shows later this month with Miranda. I'll post a review the next day. I'm very lucky that Greyson is coming to my state 5 times this summer and three of the five dates are near me. Two are with Miranda and one is just him. I can not t go to the one that's just him because I have another event to go to that day.

First of all, that is great that you are going to get to see him and we'll definitely look forward to your review! Second of all, I hadn't studied the dates that closely, but I can't believe that he is playing PA 5 times this summer The dates are pretty spread out, so I never noticed it.

I noticed this when I was updating the list He is spending a lot of time in the east... but not in the SOUTH east He's not even coming down here at all. Hes staying in the north east most of the time.

ahh, I thought it was odd that management would let him sing Cheyenne and I Wanna Be Where You Are I imagine (speculating here) that Mgt's concerns would have to do with copyright, publishing, and royalty issues. I believe I am correct that before you can do a "public" performance of a song, you have to secure the performance rights from the "music publishing company". This is what I was referring to in an earlier thread where I hoped that Greyson would start his own music publishing company, so he would retain the rights to the songs he writes. I don't want to see him lose the rights & ownership of his songs like the Beatles did. I posted the Paul McCartney interview on this topic in another thread. Now he probably owes a royalty fee to MJ's Music Company. I could have it all wrong, but I think this is what the "rules" are about. Or it could just be a planned part of the show.

Greyson chance at the taste of Chicago on July 3. I got up at 10:00 and got ready and we left!! And we took the train and we got there at 1:30 and we waited in line for about 20 mins and they started letting people in we got our seats, and then radio disney did alot of dancing and stuff! And then Shane came on he did his normal set, and then more radio Disney. And then finally Greyson came out!! Everyone went crazy he performed heart like stone light up the dark broken hearts unfriend you Cheyenne I wanna be where you are paparazzi and waiting outside the lines!! I have to say for a 13 year old he is VERY good at what he does and knows how to do it, he messed up a couple times but that didn't stop him at ALL he kept going. I've seen like 9 concerts and Greyson is the best so far!! So if you haven't seen him you must. (:

I'm going to see him and Miranda Cosgrove at the Warner Theater at te end of July..I have a few questions because I have never been to a concert before! 1. Do you HAVE to sit in the seat your ticket says or can you go earl and get better seats? 2. Do they have an autograph signing at the end of a performance? Sorry if i seem dumb, im just really excited because I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCHH!<3

Sorry if i seem dumb, im just really excited because I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCHH!<3 I am so glad that you are going to get to see Greyson this summer! To answer your questions... 1. Yes, most likely you are going to have to sit in your assigned seats. The only exception to this is if the venue has a General Admission section, but it seems that the summer shows don't have those. So, yes - for a short answer. 2. In the past, Greyson has almost always done a meet and greet after his set at his concerts. However, since the tour hasn't started yet, I don't think anybody knows if they will do it this time around. The only reason I can think that they wouldn't do the meet and greets this time around is that the venues they are playing are quite a bit bigger than the last time Miranda and Greyson toured together. So, the short answer here is maybe. You don't sound dumb at all. If you have any other questions, please ask and somebody on here will do their best to answer them for you. I hope you have a great time and after the show come back on here and tell us all about it!
