I saw Greyson today in Buffalo at Darien Lake. My friends and I got to the stage where Greyson was going to be performing, at around one when the ropes weren't going down til four. We saw Greyson getting out of his tour bus and asked for a picture and he said "Of course!" He hugged us all and was so nice. We waited three hours to try and get front row and did Greyson was opening for Miranda Cosgrove so he didn't perform alot of songs. He sang some of his newer songs such as Home Is In Your Eyes but still did some older favorites like Paparazzi and Fire and then closed with Unfriend You. We had brought a sign that said Enchancers and kept holding it up whenever he looked at us! Then Greyson was going to take a picture of the crowd, there was over 10,000 people, literally, and said "Where should I take it?" and took the picture right in front of me and my friends! My friend had also won Meet & Greets on twitter so we got to meet him again after he performed. When we walked in he said "Oh I know these girls!" We talked to him for about 5 minutes and gave him a shirt and card we had made. He signed my phone and sign and kept hugging me Overall, it was one of the most fun concerts I have ever been to. Greyson is an amazing performer and entertainer and one of the nicest people you will ever meet. I encourage everybody to go and see him live if you can, you definitely will not regret it! by any chance did you get any of the new songs on recording or did any one else you no that will post it on youtube? i am not able to go to any concerts since there is none near or in california(:

Here is another write up --> www.delmarvanow.com/article/20110718/NEWS01/107180301/YouTube-sensation-among-stars-Radio-Disney-brings-OC-beachYouTube sensation among stars Radio Disney brings to OC beachOCEAN CITY -- With over 40 million hits for his YouTube rendition of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi," Greyson Chance is already used to large crowds -- like the one that packed the beach for his Sunday performance at Radio Disney's Sizzlin' Summer of Stars in Ocean City. Like Justin Bieber, who also rose to stardom thanks to YouTube videos, 13-year-old Chance's audience is mostly tween girls. Also drawing boys of the same age who might have seen him on the Disney Channel's "So Random," Chance's audience is typical of those attending the free summer concert series sponsored by Radio Disney and Perdue. "We identified the tween market as a gap here," said Debbie Turk, Ocean City's tourism director. While she said the town did have under-21 clubs and lots of adult bands, she said there was demand for such a family event. Jenny Michele, promotions manager for Radio Disney 640-AM Philadelphia, said they plan on continuing the concert series next year, bringing ever-bigger artists to the event as it grows. When it started last summer, Turk said a lot of the audience just wandered over to see what the crowd and noise was about. But this summer, she is seeing more families coming prepared with beach supplies in tow as they stake out a good spot to watch the performances. With concerts beginning at 6 p.m on Sundays at the beach by Division Street, she said families should plan on arriving by 2 p.m. for the best view of the stage. At previous shows, she said some families even arrived as early as 5:30 a.m. to get in line for public meet-and-greets with the talent. Following Chance's performance, Shane Harper and Tiffany Thornton are already scheduled to perform, and The Ready Set will play the summer concert finale at the end of August. Chance, whose first album comes out in August, said he's gotten used to the hectic touring schedules planned for him and the other young artists. "Honest to God, I love what I do," he said. "I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't." Quick to emphasize his love of music, Chance said he wrote more than half the songs on the new album himself. "That's what this whole project is about," he said. "It's not just fake, artificial pop music -- it's real." A fan of classic rock and punk, he said the 20-something session musicians he tours with have been getting him into jazz too.

Went to last night's concert. Greyson's setlist was HOTTN, Heart Like Stone,Chennye, Empire State Of Mind, Papazzri, Little London Girl, WOTL, and Unfriend You. I was surpried he sang Chennye instread of Home Is In Your Eyes. I'm also surprised he did'nt sing Fire. Greyson was great as always! Right after he sang Unfriend You he said he was going to do a meet and greet behind the stage. Everybody was running to get there. Finally after waitng 20 minutus in line I was the fourth person in line then Greyson had to go backstage.there was a couple hundred behind me. Right before he went I went up to him and he pointed and said something to me. I could'nt hear so well because of the screaming. I think he said 'I rember you" or "Nice shirt". I was wearing the blue shirt with Greyson's picture that's availble online. I got the shirt the last time I saw Greyson.I was a little upset that I did'nt get a picture with him again. Then my dad, brother, and I went back to our seats to see Miranda. I can tell she improved since last time. She played her song "Shakespere' on the guitar. Stll Greyson was better.

Janesville, WI -- What a Perfect Day!I’ve seen Greyson 2X in Milwaukee, 1X in Chicago, and had ordered tickets to see him at the WI State Fair next weekend. When the opportunity arose to see him in Janesville, I couldn't pass it up. I entered the the fairground’s address into my GPS and discovered it was only 35 miles from my apartment in Madison to the venue. What a great venue it turned out to be. While street parking was available, I parked right across the street from the gate for $5.00 in a church parking lot. Admission to the fairgrounds was $8.00 and that included the concert. The grandstand, lawn area, and stage were only about 50 yd. from the gate surrounded by places to eat. I think about every church and civic group in the city had a food tent set up. I had the best steak sandwich I’ve ever eaten at one end of the grandstand and homemade blueberry pie and ice cream at the other. It took some doing, but I managed to avoid the chocolate eclair and cream puff concession, as well as the funnel cakes. Enough personal info, now for the show. First off let me say that we all have to enjoy these shows early in Greyson’s career. By next year at this time we’ll probably be lucky to get this close to the stage. With Greyson, half the fun is being close enough to see his mannerisms and facial expressions when he really starts to "enChance" a song. As for the crowd, I counted/estimated 400-500 people in the grandstand and about that many in the lawn area in front of the stage. More folks were drawn in as the sound carried across the grounds. It was fun watching the expressions on some of the adults’ faces who you just knew were hearing “this kid” for the first time. Unlike the indoor venues where I had seen Greyson before, you could stand behind the crowd and not have the screams drowned out the music. Greyson’s voice came through beautifully. You never know exactly how he is going to perform a song live; he never seems to sing it the same way from one show to the next-- it all seems to depend on how he "feels it" at the time. His improvisations are getting much better; I think I only raised my eyebrows once yesterday and thought “Oops!” I was really pleased; Greyson performed for about 35-40 min. and sang 10 songs. I felt sorry for all the people in line for the meet and greet and don’t think he got to 10% of them before they whisked him away in a mini-van. He did sign right up until the time Allstar Weekend played their 1st notes. I stayed to hear a couple of songs by them and thought “nothing special -- not bad -- just a typical boy band.” Unfortunately, the line to meet Greyson was still there, down the entire length of the grandstand when I left, and he had departed 10 min. before. On the way home I decided to take a side trip to the casino where I came out $400.00 ahead. When I finally did get back to my apartment I got online to check the results from a blood test I had done at the clinic in the morning -- the results were more than satisfactory. Like I said, “What a perfect day!” Although I have a ticket, I’m still trying to decide if I want to fight the traffic and the crowds at the state fair in Milwaukee next weekend when he opens for Big Time Rush. I am real curious though about how he plays in a much larger venue. I hope they put him on the big screen and not just do that for BTR. It would certainly add to the performance for the paying audience.

retiredone, First thanks for telling me about the Philly show when it was first announced. Even though I did not meet Greyson I had a fun time.I had the same problem as you with the leaving early for the main act. I was 4th in line.
BTR is HORRIBLE live. I saw them on the KCA's on TV and they sounded like they never sang before. Allstar Weekend sings just avarege live and recorded to me eventhough I like their song "Not Your Birthday".When I saw Greyson last week with Miranda the venue holded 14,000 people. He di a meet and greet after his performance but had to leave because Miranda was about to go on. I was upset that they put the big screen on for miranda but not for GC. I guess most people know that Mirannda can'nt sing live and Greyson can .

Greyson is seriously one of the best live performers ever...just thought I'd throw that out there =) I attended Greyson's concert last night(August3rd) in Cohasset, MA. If you couldn't tell from from my first comment, the concert was amazing. Greyson was incredible! Miranda....not so much. But that's okay =) We arrived at the venue around 6:00ish, after a long three hour drive..which seemed to take forever! But the whole time we were blasting HOTTN, so it made the ride a lot better. This venue, The South Shore Music Circus, was actually looked like a circus tent. I guess its name speaks for itself! When we arrived, Greyson was finishing up his sound check. We got to hear Heart Like Stone and Unfriend You while waiting in the parking lot. Me, my friend and my sister started going crazy because by then, we were beyond excited for the concert. We made t-shirts and signs for Greyson...you know, the whole speel. It was funny because we were getting a lot of interested looks from the Miranda fans...who were decked out in Miranda gear. They were like...did you come for the right concert? Me: Yup...look who's opening. Them: Oh.....Who's Greyson? Me: You'll see After a minor ticket problem(Which was quickly solved...and I'm very gracious for that!), we entered the venue and found our seats. Then Greyson came on! And my world got 100x better :) I loved his Waiting 4U tour performance, but I'm going to have to say I liked this one better. You could actually hear Greyson's beautiful voice without the hundreds of screaming girls. Greyson performed Hold On Til The Night/Heart Like Stone/Paparazzi/Home Is In Your Eyes(I was elated when he performed this song; one of my favorites.)/Little London Girl/Waiting Outside The Lines and closed with Unfriend You. Like I said he was incredible =) My friend and I were cheering him on like crazy with our signs and voices. We were the only Greyson fans with signs...so I'm hopping he saw us. All the Miranda fans in front of us were staring at us like we were going crazy. It was great! My Dad was like 'just wait...pretty soon, Miranda will be opening for Greyson.' I agree! After his performance, he didn't do a meet'n'greet. It was a disappointment, but I was just happy that I got to see him live again. Someday, I hope to meet Greyson! Praying that day will come sooner rather than later. For the rest of the concert,(I wasn't really into Miranda...she's okay. Her voice annoyed me.) I talked with some other fans of Greyson who were waiting for him to return for the final song(like us). In the end Greyson didn't return because the stage was too small. But oh well! I met some really cool Enchancers :) Overall, the concert was great! I really didn't get any good pictures. My Dad was in charge of video-taping. He recorded all of Greyson's songs, but the video isn't the best(shaky and blurry in spots). The sound is somewhat good though! Here's the link to my YouTube channel if you wanna check them out. www.youtube.com/user/11PonyGal#p/u

But yeah, he left the concert with a totally new respect for Greyson.

Wisconsin State Fair -- Aug. 6, 2011 I have seen Greyson 5 times in less than a year -- twice with Amanda Cosgrove, once with Cody Simpson, once with Allstar Weekend, and once with BTR. Who would have thought he would have that many shows so close to my home in southern Wisconsin.
I was looking forward to the last one at the Wisconsin State Fair because I was curious as to how he would come across on the big stage with a large audience. The answer is very well. It would have been even better though if he had performed during BTR’s time slot. It would have added so much to the ambiance if it had been darker so the stage lights would have had their desired effects, and his face would have shown up better on the 2 large screens on either side of the stage. It wasn’t until Greyson’s last 2 songs that you could just start to make out his facial features.
There’s a university stadium about 25 miles from me that I know holds about 12,000 people. The crowd in front of me at the show would easily have filled that stadium, and there were rows and rows of people behind me. It was a very large audience, but Greyson seemed totally relaxed -- a real pro.
While it seemed to be primarily a BTR audience, Greyson's fans were very well represented. Judging from the expressions on their faces, Greyson gained the respect of a whole lot of older people in the audience (and I don’t just mean really old like me).
I was pleased that he performed about 45 minutes and sang 10 songs. It was the same set list he used in Janesville the week before. Unlike Janesville, however, he brought the bus, the red piano, the works. I think he also used some backup tracks that I don’t remember hearing the week before. If he had a souvenir booth, I sure couldn’t find it. In contrast, BTR had 3 of them. No meet and greet, but they had to be back East for a show the next night.

So last night I went to Lancaster. It was really cool. I was like in the 10th row. I did'nt know Greyson had so many fans under 13. When my family and I were in line to get in we met a some friends that were 10 and the one friend's mom. The girls said they first heard of Greyson 2 months ago on "So Random"., It was a standing room. Micheal & Marissa opened. They got better but still can'nt sing. After they were done Greyson came on! Great as usal. Sang a lot. My mom was the only parent haveing fun. Greyson looked at her. I really liked it when he sang "I Wanna Be Where You Are". After he was done singing "Unfriend You" everybdoy was leaving untill he came back onstage and said it was his frist time singing this song. Then he started singing Lady Gaga's "Edge Of Glory". There had to be this hirl next to us that was taking video who had to be at least 18 being emotional and started crying. After the show we did heard he did do a meet and greet but it was getting hettic with the crowds so we left. on the way out I met Micheal& Marissa. I got a picture with them. When we got out of the place we had pizza at a place down the street. On our way back to the car there were girls parked by the tour bus down the street from the venue. They said he had'nt come yet. Then a couple minutes later he crossed the street and came over to us. I screamed 'Greyson!!!!". He looked at me and waved. My dad screamed "Nice job Greyson". He sangv "Thank you". Then Greyson had to go to his bus. Then the gils started looking through his window and started singing 'Waitng Outside the Bus". i belive it was Staci that stopped them from singing. Then Greyson looked out of his window and waved to us. We decided to go back homew after my mom asked one of Greyson's bandmates if he was coming out. Even though I did'nt get autograph or pic again I'm very happy I went.In Philly 3 weeks ago I was 4th in line but he had to go back in. He did'nt do a meet and greet at all in West Chester. I got a autograph and picture with Greyson in Glenside.
