To tell you all the truth, I haven't been blown away by a young singer like this since I first heard Greyson. This Andrew M kid is the real thing, better than any teen singer on Youtube except Greyson, of course.
He is virtually unknown so far. I checked out his videos from earlier in the year and he still had the beautiful Boy's voice, but that all changed during the summer as his voice started to mature. He did a "rolling in the deep" cover in mid July and you could hear his voice lowering.... This cover was done in mid Sept after his voice has totally and beautifully changed. It's now rich in tone with masculine overtones and more powerful than before.
I hope you will all take a few minutes to watch this video and maybe go to youtube and comment and 'sub' his channel. If you're as blown away by this kid as I am, then comment here too.
Thanks and enjoy yourselves!
After watching the above video, if there's any doubt in your mind that he is a future star, then watch his latest cover...

Here's a video of an interview in Singapore. It's almost 13 minutes long but very good, except Greyson seems kinda wired and nervous in this one. Maybe too much Starbucks for a 14 yr old? LOL

Check out this video... I've given up trying to embed on this site so I'll just post the link... It's the same show, same song, but great close-up camera shots of Greyson and the emotion he puts into his singing... Enjoy! If someone else wants to embed this here, you have my blessing.. youtu.be/nOx6QEOfAF4To imbed video on the forum. Use the REPLY button in the blue line at the top of the thread to post your reply as the YT button will not show up if you use the "Quick Reply" Box. 1. First, remember to highlight and copy the Youtube page address in the address bar from the Youtube page. Note, you must copy the address from the actual video page as channel pages will not work. 2. BEFORE pasting the link here in the message box, click on the "YT" button above the message box. This will appear in your message: 3. Click to place your curser BETWEEN the two sets of youtube brackets. Then right click and PASTE your link. Make sure the link is between the two sets of brackets [youtube] PASTE HERE [youtube]. The vid won't show up until you move the cursor from the sentence where you have placed the link. Hope this helps and if Djtiny sees this I hope he will edit it for content, clarity, and wording. Also, see his excellent HOW TO section found on the homepage. For some reason, the youtube button does not show up on my comp no matter which way I try. I can add the brackets myself... , and add the copied code and the video will pop up on the 'line review' area of this page but won't post to final page, so I'm done trying to figure out cuz i'm gettin too old and senile to remember...LOL...

I really like seeing the whole performance on this video. GREAT!!
The audio isn't as good as the other, but I like the different cam angles and hearing the audience reactions much better on this one
Thanks for posting this version, Meredith..

Here's an interview from sept 27 that answers lots of questions we all wanted to ask...
September 27, 2011 Posted by The Ultra V Network in 2011, Greyson Chance Week, Interviews, Latest Exclusives, Music, Pop, S.C.Interview: Greyson Chance Talks HOTTN, Demi Lovato & MoreJust 18 months ago he was that kid playing "Paparazzi" at his middle school concert. Now he is that kid playing in front thousands at packed venues. How far Greyson Chance has come is pretty incredible as he has taken one of the unlikeliest routes to stardom. With the help of Ellen Degeneres who discovered him on Youtube and signed him to her own label, Greyson has been able to live out a life long dream. We've talked to the teen sensation twice back in our ::we live FM:: days and now he was kind enough to grant us another interview following his debut release of 'Hold On Til The Night'. Check it out!
UVN: Since we last talked to you, you were on the Dancing Crazy tour with Miranda Cosgrove. Did you learn anything about yourself on tour that had any influence on your new album?
GC: You know, I learned so much from that tour. That was my first time ever on stage and performing for an audience. I learned so much from her and I discovered my love for touring!
UVN: Your debut album 'Hold On Til The Night' was released on Aug. 2nd. We know you have a few rituals. Did you do anything superstitious or start some sort of tradition leading up to midnight of your album release?
GC: I didn't really do any rituals; I just tried to stay away from stress and worries & keep myself relaxed before the release.
UVN: At what point did you know the album was finished? Did you have a certain amount of songs you set to record or was it a certain song that you felt made the album complete?
GC: I could've released the album a year ago if I wanted...but it had to be perfect. I made sure every song was perfect and that all the artwork and creativity felt very fresh and organic. Wanted to make sure it was perfect for my fans!
UVN: Will you be releasing a 3rd single and if so can you give us a clue to what it will be and when we can expect it?
GC: I will be releasing a 3rd single and more after that one. But no, you are not getting a hint of what it is! (:
UVN: We've seen you go from a YouTube sensation to a teen sensation selling out shows. The fans really love you. What is the craziest thing a fan has done to catch your attention?
GC: You know so many fans have done so many crazy things. But I appreciate when a fan comes to me and just treats me like a normal person and talks to me. That really warms my heart when they do that. But don't get me wrong; I like the really CRAZY fans too!
UVN: You spent a lot of 2011 on tour but can we expect Greyson Chance on tour again soon? If so what is that one city in the U.S. or globally you’re dreaming to perform for that you haven't yet?
GC: We will be doing a headline tour very soon. I have already been working on creative plans for it. But for now, we will be going out on the road with different bands and artists!
UVN: We know the Beatles and Lady Gaga are a big influence on you. What are a few songs currently out now that have really caught your attention?
GC: Well I love "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. She has made such a big comeback. I don't know her personally but I am just naturally so proud of her. And what an amazing voice she has!
UVN: We just recently saw you make you acting debut on 'Raising Hope'. What was that experience like and do you see yourself taking on acting roles a lot more in the future?
GC: It was so much fun to be on Raising Hope! The cast was so welcoming and supportive. It was my first acting gig so I was a bit nervous, but after I was on set for a minute I lost all those worries. There will for sure be a couple more appearances in the future.
UVN: Being only 14 and having a successful album and being able to tour around the U.S. you have already completed a lot. At what point will you be able to say you made it and be fully content with it?
GC: I will never be able to say I have made it. I think the day I say that is the day I stop being a musician. I think it is good to keep on making goals and reaching them! Whether I am playing the Staples Center or the House of Blues I will always be doing it, forever.

I just saw this tweet from lead guitarist Hayden...
HaydenMaringer Hayden Maringer Who's going to see @greysonchance these next couple months?! #HoldonWORLDWIDE
Hold on WORLDWIDE? Sounds like a tour coming up... Then Hayden started tweeting the question " What's your favorite Greyson and Cody songs?" #them...
This asks the question...are Greyson AND Cody getting back together for another co-headlining tour worldwide? I guess we'll have to wait and see what the future holds...
What do you guys think??

That piano is in whatever studio Greyson was doing a 'shoot' in on the 25th. I havn't heard or seen anything else about what this shoot was, the setup looks more of an interview. Small at that. Anyway, if you look in the background of this picture you will see the gold piano there as well. www.whosay.com/greysonchance/photos/59707Greyson tweeted that a little after he tweeted that first picture. I'm pretty sure that the 'shoot' was for the Labor day MDA telethon which he said he was going to be on... Most entertainment segments for the telethon are taped in advance and aired by the producers several times during the 21 hour broadcast... Greyson probably did a song, playing the gold piano, and then did a verbal promo for MDA, hence the teleprompter in the photo here...

Greyson was great! But the bad sound and the terrible camera work made the whole 8 minutes he was on cam (out of a 2 hour show) almost like a laughable amatuer show... I'll never watch QVC again... They really DON'T know how to put on a show... In a moment of weakness, I did order the CD/DVD (I had planned to do that) because I wanted the DVD special, but it won't arrive until Aug 11 or later... I hope someone got a good copy of 'heart like stone' to upload to youtube....?... YEAH!!! It worked and here's a copy of the QVC video...!!

I LOVE IT!! "Little London Girl" is 'old time' Rock & Roll...Is there anyone here 'old' enough to recognize that beat? Greyson is definately trying to bring back Rock & Roll to the teen scene, and I think he can and will do it all by himself. You young people are so used to hip-hop, rap, and pop music styles. You haven' heard what real rock and roll is like....until now.... Hope you all fall in love with his music because I sure will... This is exactly why many of us 'older' folks are liking Greyson so much. He said he wanted to bring real music back because he didn't like the crap they are playing now days. He's more into rock music and that's the direction he's taking his music. And remember, it's ALL about the MUSIC and not pandering to a single demographic like young teen and 'tween' girls. He wants his music to appeal to everyone and be "timeless" and still listened to in 40 years.
I know it's really hard to believe that someone so young can change the course of music singlehandedly, but if enough people like his music, it will turn heads in the industry and other artists will start copying his style and a new direction will be set for future music... Can Greyson set the new trends? I for one believe he can, and hope there are more believers out there...

But where's the long awaited song "Purple Sky"? And where's "You Light Up the Dark"? Also thought that "Broken Hearts" and "Stars" might be on there too
Hhmmmmmm, very interesting. I've heard 5 of the songs on the list....and can't wait to hear the rest!
