celebsecrets4u.com/2011/08/07/greyson-chance-shuts-down-f-y-e-in-long-island/Greyson Chance made an appearance on Tuesday at Long Island’s F.Y.E. store where more than 1000 adoring fans waited to see the teen internet sensation perform songs from his debut album “Hold On ‘Til The Night,” and get a signed copy of the disc. As attendance numbers got out of control, authorities had to start turning people away from the 1000 capacity store. “It was amazing to spend my album release day with all of my fans. Seeing that huge crowd was really overwhelming and something I’ll never forget. I can’t wait to go back!” quoted Chance. “Hold On ‘Til The Night,” which People Magazine called “an impressive debut” and the Boston Globe quoted as an “album filled with 10 finely arranged and performed tunes that display a healthy respect for the art of songwriting,” made an impressive debut on the iTunes Pop Chart at #2 just behind Adele. Chance premiered the video for his second single, “Unfriend You,” on MTV and MTV Hits earlier this summer; the video for the modern-day heartbreak anthem co-starring “Victorious”’ Ariana Grande can now be viewed on VEVO as well. Greyson is currently on the road wrapping up a 22 date tour that kicked off in Chicago last month. The tour closes on August 21st at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX (remaining dates below). This summer marks Greyson’s third major tour, having completed a 28-city North American tour with fellow teen pop star Cody Simpson last spring and a run with Miranda Cosgrove in the winter.
