Hmmm, where is Djtiny. Wonder if there is a way to neatly embed a "countdown clock" on the page. Edit: Maybe we could also just put it in the news fader.

Some Info from Billboard's Last Two Interviews with Greyson.
Greyson Chance -- the teen singer/songwriter who just over a year ago became a YouTube sensation with a cover of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" -- has announced that his debut album, "Hold On 'Til the Night," will be released on Aug. 2 through Ellen DeGeneres' eleveneleven imprint, in tandem with Maverick/Geffen.
Chance stopped by "Ellen" today to announce the release date and perform his new single, "Unfriend You," and he tells Billboard.com that he counts Snow Patrol and Coldplay as his main influences on the album, which will feature soul, rock and pop stylings. He also says that a handful of songs, including "Unfriend You," will focus on heartbreak and overcoming personal struggles -- a pair of subjects he's all too familiar with, even at 13
"When all this first started... they started putting me in the studio and I was cutting records, and it was a mixture of being excited and being very nervous," says Chance. "I didn't really know who I was at this moment, so I took this record to evolve into myself and put myself in my music. And also, I was going through a heartbreak at the time, and that's where most of the lyrics come from. This record really helped me gain courage and strength, and for the fans, I hope they gain courage and strength from it as well."
Chance recently wrapped a co-headlining tour with fellow teen star Cody Simpson, and recently shot a music video for "Unfriend You" that he says will include "an artistic piano scene" as well as a lot of silly string. Chance says that he has a few things left to tweak on the full-length, and will return to Los Angeles next month to finish it up with producers The Matrix (Jason Mraz, Avril Lavigne) and Ron Fair (Lady Gaga, the Black Eyed Peas).
"I'm gonna be yelling at the producers going, 'Noo, turn that drum up, turn that drum down!' and they're gonna be going, 'No, you're 13, shut up!'" he says with a laugh. "It's all in good fun... we have so much fun in the studio and they really respect what I'm trying to do with my music, and I respect them as well."
Chance, who's also a straight-A student with his online studies, plans to keep touring through the album's release, but he's also set his sights on what will happen after that. "I'm gonna write another album," he says. "If you stop, you lose everything. You've got to keep on going."

DJ Tiny, Meredith, Duckbiter, B&W, RetiredOne, et al,
This board continues to amaze and entertain me more and more with each passing day. I don't think that any entertainer, such as Greyson, or the creators & contributors to this board realize how much is added to the quality of life by the work you do. Though I sometimes feel fine, and thereby look and sound like a normal, healthy person, there are times/ DAYS when I am too sick or weak to do much but sit in front of my computer for a while and share the world through your eyes and your thoughts that you post here on the board. One cannot put a dollar value on this gift that each of you take part in. I know I am rambling a bit here & not thinking clearly (It's one of those sick days), but I just wanted to thank each of you for all you do. Just as you guys, and Greyson, help to make my quality of life better with what you do, I am sure that there are many more people like me out here in, as Meredith put it, the nameless, faceless world of the internet, that enjoy their lives more because of this board and Greyson's music. My thanks and appreciation to each and all of you (including all the other members of this forum). Please keep up the good work. And lets all keep supporting Greyson and his family members throughout his career. Lastly, Thanks DJT for the countdown clock.

You're welcome I'm glad that what we do here can bring some entertainment to your day and you, along with all the members here should be valued just as much as the main contributors and staff because, what is a website without viewers Ditto what djtiny said. Setting it up has been a lot of work for the two of us at the outset (and you can tell we've gotten a little lazy in tying up the loose ends), but I thought that this would be a good idea. I didn't want to start another fan site b/c Lee and the others who do that have that covered. However, here on the forum anybody who comes across something can post it and will ultimately result in a lot less work for me I think forums like these are one of the great parts of the internet as long as people aren't dumb. Right now, I think most people on here who have paid attention at all know my real name, my e-mail, where I went to school, etc. Some are FB friends with me and even have my phone number. I am fine with that right now with the small group of people we have. If we ever have hundreds or thousands of members I will probably be more discreet with that info, but I figure as the person starting this I should probably be a little bit more open with people than I would normally be on the internet. Participating in the Springsteen community has been something I've really enjoyed and I hoped that I could start something like that for Greyson's fans and to get it started early on in his career. It is not only the greater understanding of Bruce's career and music that I got from other fans that makes it so great, but all the other things that I have learned from people of all different ages and life experiences from all over the world. When Danny Federici died from melanoma in 2008 (the only band member to die so far), the community raised thousands of dollars to give in his memory and this was just form people giving small increments. I have become "friends" with a woman who is a lawyer and CPA and have spoken with her on numerous occasions about combining those two professions. I kind of returned the favor by helping a guy that I "met" on there with everything that goes into applying for law school. He just finished his first year, and I am so happy for him! Things aren't always so utopian (people are bound to fight and I've definitely come to find that an artist's biggest fans will become his biggest critics as well), but on the whole, I think that Bruce, Inc. considers it a positive influence for his fans. Even with how massive that community is (50,000 plus registered members - though a much smaller number actually participate on a regular basis), it still remains unaffiliated with Bruce, Inc. In recent years, the head guy of the fansite has been granted a couple of interviews with Bruce and other band members and on a couple of occasions a few tickets to an exclusive event were raffled off amongst members. However, it remains free and open to everybody which I think is a good policy. If anybody is interested here is what I am talking about --> www.backstreets.com/ (BTX link on the top goes to the forum). Anyway, I guess my point is that it is the members that ultimately make or break a place like this. Djtiny and I can talk incessantly between ourselves (trust me, I have 130+ PMs in my inbox), but that really isn't that interesting to hear the thoughts of two people. So, thanks to everybody who has joined and participated so far! Once again, I wrote a book

Like Meredith said, you guys are the forum, we can make it is content-filled or pretty looking as ever, but what's the point if no one is looking? As for messages, I have 92 myself and all of those are with mapender, minus one or two. Plus add that too the chatroom conversations we've had

Greyson tweeted
Back in LA! Just went to hear the final edit of one of the songs from the album, called "Look At Me Now". It's one of my favorites!

I saw Greyson's tweet and went to the ASCAP site and looked up the title "Look At Me Now"... I got 118 returns, 12 pages of original songs with this title, but NONE had listed Greyson as the writer or performer...
Just a little factoid for you all to ponder...LOL...!!?!!

I loved that pic. Cute idea by the girls. I have a similar thing going, but it is to a much less exciting event than the release of the album... the bar exam. I've actually wasted an hour or two on the website after you first posted a link to it a few weeks ago. Kind of fascinating.
