Cool review. I am so glad that you ended up getting to go. I was lucky when I was younger that concerts were something my mom was always up for doing... though there were other things that were always NOs. Here is where we have the "How To" do stuff threads. Of course, we don't have one for posting pics yet, but we will get that one up sometime tonight. --> greysonchance.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=howtos

Oh gosh, where do I begin? First off, the show was absolutely amazing! I've been dragged to many concerts by my parents(not to sound ungrateful or anything) and this one by far was my favorite. I jumped on the Greyson band-wagon a little late. More like super late. When he first posted his Paparazzi video, I remember seeing it on the news and thinking, 'Wow..this kid is talented!' Then I really didn't think about him again until he announced his tour. Sad right? But I didn't seriously become a mega-fan until after Greyson's concert on April 22nd. I originally did not plan to attend the concert basically because my parents said no. And that was a firm 'NO!' Thankfully, one of my Cody-obsessed friends invited me and i couldn't turn her down. This happened three day before the show..so it was kinda a spur of the moment thing. I didn't have time to make t-shirts or signs....unforunately. And no time for VIP tickets and backstage passes..lol. Anyways..we arrived at the show venue(Hampton Ballroom Casino, Hampton NH.) 2-3 hours before the doors opened. At the back of the back of the venue, Cody's and Greyson's tour bus was parked. Of course, we snapped pictures of us in front of the bus and listened to the sound check from outside. Already, there were tons of girls lined up by the door. I was like...how can you people stand out here this long? It was absolutely freezing and it was even colder since we were literally right next to the beach. Um...fast forward three cold hours. The doors opened and like a crazed mob, we all rushed inside. We were close to the front so luckily, we got a good position off to the side of the stage, but literally right at the cage/barrier thingy. Then the opening acts for Cody and Greyson came on. Michael and Marrissa were the first act. They were...okay. I seriously don't know how old they are...but they looked like they were ten. Cameron(idk how to spell her name), who sings the songs for that new Judy Moody movie came out next. In my opion...she was terrible. Almost like a cheap rip off of Miley Cyrus. And then.....my whole night got better. Greyson and Cody both came out, opening the concert. Greyson was absolutely amazing. He is seriously talented. I wish more people would reconise his amazing talents. But then again, I like having Greyson to ourselves, you know? Sounds selfish, but I'm dreading the day that Greyson become Justin Bieber popular with crazy mobs of fans all that fun stuff. Anyways, like I said, Greyson blew me away. His set was; Light Up The Dark/Fire/Empire State of Mine/Paparazzi/Waiting Outside The Lines. Cody was also good...with his dancing and singing. Someone mentioned on here earlier that he occasional got more caught up in dancing than singing. But hey...he's not that bad of dancer. Cody's set...the best I can remember...Round of Applause/iYiYi/All Day/ Don't Cry Your Heart Out...and he sang one more song that I can't remember. Cody also gave us a little sneak peak of On My Mind since the concert was before it was released. And he seranaded a lucky girl. Omg, there's just so much! At the end, Cody and Greson did a mashup of WOTL. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Greyson or Cody. They didn't do a fan meet-and-greet and I was extremely bummed/dissapointed. At that point, I was totally Greyson obsessed. I ended buying a t-shirt and bracelet. I did take lots of pictures..like 200 pictures. My videos are okay....there was so much screaming it's kinda hard to hear. I'm planning on making a video so I'll post the link when it''s completed. All in all, the concert was fantastic and I can't wait until Greyson comes back to NH...or New England. Btw....how do you post pictures? I'm a newbie. Welcome to the Forum Like mapender said we don't have a tutorial on posting a picture yet but we will get on it right now and will post a link here to it when it's finished

I think it is only natural as well. People who are fans of an artist/band from the beginning always love sharing their new discovery with other people, only to then complain when they get too big and are liked by everybody. I want everybody to recognize how talented Greyson is (mostly b/c he deserves that kind of success and partly b/c then people will stop making fun of me for thinking a 13 year old is so great), but then again I love being able to see him in smaller venues and then being able to go up after the show and say hello. I hope that Greyson doesn't get quite as big as Justin though. No matter how great the fame and fortune is, that kind of life has got to be incredibly hard on anyone. Hopefully, he'll have a nice balance of being very popular, very well respected (by the powers that be in the music industry), and still be able to go out in public w/o inciting mobs.

Hi Ponygal! Just wanted to let you know the reason why Greyson and Cody did not do meet and greets after several concerts. They were either both sick or one of them was sick, and so the other did not do the meet and greets either. There was a bad respiratory infection going around and quite a few of the band members along with Cody and Greyson, were sick. Their general rule is to do meet and greets after every concert, but when someone is sick, they don't want to expose all the fans to their sickness (shaking hands, hugging, etc), as well as they just plain did not feel good. They hated not being able to do the meet and greets - they both love all their fans that came out to support them, but it was a call from both sides of management. However -- the show must go on -- and it did!

I was surprised beacuse from his wonderful performance, I couldn't tell at all.

My thoughts exactly. Meeting Greyson is offically on my bucket list. He's returning to New Hampshire with Miranda Crosgrove in July. Unfortunately, I'll be away that week..grrr.

:)me and my mom left around 4pm ,the weather was nice it was sunny unlike what the news said it was going to rain. we didn't get lost because we been to san francisco a couple of times.we got there and we did not have to pay 4 parking which gave us extra money to buy souvenirs .their was already a little long line ,we where standing about 10-feet away from the doors. their buses where right there parked in front of the building!while we where standing their all of a sudden the front crowd starts to scream and yelling cody.! i was all confused, so i asked the person in front of me what they where screaming about the person said it was cody simpson he camed late and had to make his way in.!so then some guys where selling out waiting4u tour t-shirts which my mom bought me and i put it on.we waited until it was about 6:30 we where right in front .we handed in r tickets and went in and got our hands stamped.the place was not crowed yet.i could not make up my mind whether we should stay on the bottom with the stage or the balcony above on the sides of the stage. while i was making my mind up.we went to the little gift shop in the corner.i bought a g.c bracelet,g.c poster and 4u c.d. c.s.they played music really loud surprised u could not hear it from out side. i finally made up my mind that i wanted to stay on the bottom when we went back to the stage their were a couple of more people, but i was pretty close to the front .just about 5 people in front of us. the show finally began the bottom lights went off and the stage lights went on.! the first person up was spencer from good luck charlie.! he sang beautiful and he played his guitar.then during one of his songs he had a t-shirt in his hand that hade his face on it he through it in the crowd .! surprisingly i turned around my mom and a other group of three girls where tugging over it.then just a girl and my mom where tugging over it,then my mom asked me if i really wanted it i said no let the girls have it. so she letted it go.and the girls where happy and they took pictures with it. i wasn't mad i was just here to get to meet greyson and cody.after spencer finished they rearranged the stage 4 the next performance .wich was camryn and her rock band she sang good not lots of people where rocking to it but finally she finished and they re staged the stage. the show would not go on till the crowd backed up because i think they needed to put security in front cause greyson and cody where the next ones up. the guy was pointing at the pacific people who were not moving back.it started to get funny but then anoying .finally then the show started the lights went out and bright lights flashed and their was greyson and cody .!! they looked so perfect...thet did there introducing performance which my mom got on vid!! then cody got off stage and greyson asked how everyone was doing and everyone screamed.then he first played heart like stone were at that point i put my huge poster up making sure he read it i then put it down and started singing along to the songs.second he sang, paparazzi , empire state of mind ,light up the dark, unfriend, you, last was waiting out side the lines wich every one sang to.he touched front hands and took a pic of the front middle crowd.wich is on his face book greyson chance. the onr where their is a girl holding a poster saying that it's her birthday sing to her...... or i think its the one with the security dude.. i 4 get ...tomorrow i will finish this report of live at the great american music hall, san francisco waiting4you tour....ok

Well, here I Atlanta, it was pretty amazing (: I mean, mostly EVERYONE here liked Cody more... But that was probably because I was part of the CS meet and greet crowd and didn't get a chance to talk to anyone else (:
But it was absolutely amazing. Probably the BEST concert I've ever been to. And I've been to TWO Justin bieber concerts (: Greyson and Cody were BY FAR way better than those concerts.
