After that night, everything seemed to have gotten much better than normal. Magazines, television, social networks, and radio all buzzed with the same news. Me and Greyson were back together! It felt like somehow that bump in the road made us come back stronger and more in love than ever before. One of us was never seen without the other by the their side. We were inseparable.
Dreams Come True hit #1 on the box office movie charts, and so did the song on iTunes for two whole weeks!
Summer was coming to an end. The air was growing cooler and the nights shorter. Down a deserted street, Greyson was teaching me how to skateboard. It was now sunset, we had been practicing all afternoon.
"Come on, you almost had it! Keep trying, I gotcha!" Greyson said encouragingly after I had wobbled and almost fell off the board, but he caught me before I did. Greyson held my hands to stabilize me while he walked me down the road.
"Hard to believe that Summer's almost over. " I said, as I looked up at the orange sky.
"Yup, another year gone by. Another week 'til my tour in Europe!"
"Please take me with you!"
"I would if I could. But, you Missy, have to go back to school!"
"What if I do online schooling instead, like you? Would you take me then? I could do my work on the road, and in between shows!"
Greyson thought for a moment.
"You know, that's actually a good idea! First stop, London!" He looked at me with a big smile on his face.
"YES!!" I wobbled on my skateboard again. Greyson laughed as he stabilized me, "Woah, there! Careful, don't want my little London girl to get hurt before we even get there!" He winked at me. I had went on tours with Greyson before, but they were only in Canada and The United States. They were also in the Summer, when I didn't have to deal with school. Now I was going on a European tour with him! I was so excited.
As Greyson walked beside me, holding my hands as I rolled along on the skateboard, we talked and recalled all the amazing, chaotic, and wonderful things that happened during the summer. About the day when we first heard news about Dreams Come True, our dinner dates, and the movie night at Greyson's house; the breakup, the surprise concert, the movie premiere, and then the makeup.
Even though at times I wanted privacy, or just to curl up in a ball and cry, I would never change what I had for the world. This life and my boyfriend; the sweetest, most amazing boy that any girl could ever wish for, was mine. This, by any means, was a dream come true.
