The premiere was as good as I had first thought it would be, if not better. Me and Greyson met lots celebrities like Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Ellen Degeneres was also there, congratulating Greyson on the movie and his career.
The movie was amazing! It included some never-before-seen footage and home videos of Greyson and his family while he was growing up.
Because I was still mad and confused at Greyson, I did not hold his hand or snuggle with him during the movie. We just sat together and commented on the movie every once in a while, acting slightly more than acquaintance.
After the movie was done and everyone congratulated Greyson, they all started to leave. Soon enough, me and Greyson were pretty much the only people left.
Not really realizing what we were doing, we went for a little stroll down the road. We walked in silence until we came across a peaceful park, away from the noise of traffic. I noticed through the semi-darkness of summer, that the park had green grass and large oak trees. Crickets were chirping happily as the billions of stars in the shallow, blue sky twinkled from high above.
"So, how'd you like the movie?" Greyson said, trying to start a conversation.
"It was good." I said. We walked across the nicely trimmed lawn in an awkward silence. Greyson sighed. It was an agitated sort of sigh, as if he really wanted to say something, but couldn't find the words. Finally, Greyson broke the silence. "Look, I really need to talk to you. About that picture you saw, of me kissing Lauren?" I groaned. "Oh, no, Greyson! Don't start! We're done, I told you. It's over!"
"Yeah, I know. But I just want to say that I'm not in love with Lauren. I never will be in love with Lauren!"
"Then why'd you kiss her?" I said, feeling tears swelling up in my eyes.
"I didn't. She made me! It was all part of the drama she was having with some guy back in New York. She wanted to make him jealous, and she knew that we used to have a thing together. So she came up for my CD signing and told me to kiss her, and act all cuddly just for the picture, so she could get a friend to show it to him. I didn't want to, and told her I was dating you. It would look like I was cheating on you if I kissed her. But before I could do anything else to stop her, she hit me smack in the lips with her's! And trust me, I didn't like it...AT ALL! Then she giggled 'Thanks!' and left. I felt so terrible about it afterwards! If you don't believe me, that's fine." We were standing beside a large water fountain at the center of the park, where oak trees surrounded us. I thought about what Greyson had just said. He had refused to kiss Lauren, because he was dating me. But she kissed him before he could stop her. So it wasn't Greyson's fault. It was just a big misunderstanding.
"I believe you." I said.
"Huh?"
"I believe you." I said again.
"So, we're still over, right?" asked Greyson.
"Sooo over." I whispered as I looked into his sparkling, brown eyes.
Greyson quickly pulled me in and we kissed each other romantically. His hands were pressed against my face while my foot slowly lifted off the ground. The sound of the trickling water from the fountain suddenly disappeared. My mind was erased of every single thought, every word; all except that moment. We were in love, and that's all that mattered.
