I LOVE greyson and i know a lot of people do, but i think his fan base in asia is much bigger then the usa fanbase I think you may well be right - apart from the number of members of this forum who've said they're from Malaysia / Singapore / Indonesia / Philippines, if you take a look at the stats of the HOTTN video on YouTube, it shows as being even more popular in those countries than in the US.

Just a few things I found while searching the internet:
--The Manila venue is actually called the Smart Araneta Coliseum, not Sarenta. Interscope listed it wrong.
--The Singapore ticket site says that Greyson's concert will be approximately 1 hr. 15 min. long.
--For anyone flying over from the U.S. to catch a concert ;D Your best ticket prices appear to be in Malaysia: $29.26, $45.90, $62.53 (U.S. currency) You can also get an early-bird discount of 20% if you order by Feb. 29.
--As previously mentioned the ticket prices for Singapore in U.S. dollars are $56.21, $77.91, $92.37, $100.40.
--For Jakarta the prices are $43.13, $55.46, $73.94, $92.43, $123.24.
--The Manila ticket site hadn't listed Greyson's concert event yet.
--Of course, there are also the extra fees they charge whenever you order tickets.

Thanks so much for the information! Let me just call Delta and hop a flight over there. I've actually flown from Atlanta to New York for a concert before, so I guess it isn't that much of stretch. I would LOVE to go to Asia though. How cool would that be? I wonder if Greyson will get to do any touristy things this time around. Looks like a very quick trip if that is all the dates they are doing. I wouldn't be surprised to see more added, though.

http://instagram.com/p/G83dDjHRMV I was just looking at Camryn's tweets and found this by accident. Apprently she will be opening for the tour. She opened for Greyson at the W4U tour. She's a really talented singer and songwriter.

She's a really talented singer and songwriter. Good find. I was wondering if he might have local Asian acts opening for him or what. I saw Camryn too on the W4U tour. She did well, but I found her band rather distracting; they sort of upstaged her at the concert I went to.

Had some time to kill, so I decided to go on Youtube and get a feel for some of the venues Greyson will be performing at on his Asian tour. I remember him saying in an early interview that one of his dreams was to be the headliner in large venues like these -- looks like he will get his wish. He may not fill all of the seats at this point in his career, but ticket sales seem to be going really well on the 2 ticket sites I checked out.
On the Jakarta site things keep changing. In the first few hours most sections were listed as sold out and then not sold out 2 days later. This morning, for example, it said the $55.00 (US) tickets were sold out, then there appeared to be tickets available; however, when I asked for 2 tickets, it reported only 1 was available. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jakarta was a sellout or very close to it.
On the ticket site for Singapore you can actually choose your seat, so they have the seating charts and its very easy to pop from section to section to see what’s available. The venue holds 7-8 thousand people for concerts depending on the staging. They’ve sold just over 1300 tickets so far (approx. $109,000 US). The tickets have only been on sale for 6 days with 2 months to go. So I’m thinking he should have a respectable turnout there also. I guess I’m sort of surprised at the number they’ve sold already given the ticket price and the age demographic. I picture hundreds, if not thousands, of young gals asking their parents for $80.00 US to go see Greyson Chance and not getting a very positive response.
I wonder how long it will be before we see an end to the up close and personal shows in the U.S. This summer could very well be the last!

I looked at Lady Gaga's new world tour (Born This Way Tour) and noticed that she opens her tour at the Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS) on April 27, nine days AFTER Greyson performs at the SAME venue on April 18th... I was wondering if there's any significance in this because Gaga and Greyson share the same management team and recording company in Interscope... Anyone have any thoughts about this connection? Greyson's short tour will be done before Gaga's starts. Hmmmmm, Who is Gaga's opening act on this tour?? Kinda makes me wonder and thinking maybe..... ...

I just can't fathom that Greyson can play the same size venue as Gaga. That is crazy. I wonder how close he can come to selling it out. I've hypothesized before that we'll see Greyson opening for Gaga at some point in the future. I know that some of her opening acts rotate throughout a tour, so I could see him opening for a leg for sure.

If you go to Youtube and type in the venue name and "concert," it will bring up shows by other artists, and you can get a feel for the venues. They're all "BIG" if you use past Greyson venues as the benchmark. He may not fill all the seats, but something tells me he may have a pretty respectable turnout. I hope the Gaga concert following so closely doesn't affect ticket sales for Greyson. If you're short of cash, would like to see both, but have to choose . . .
