I chose Cheyenne, Purple Sky, Running Away, Within the Lights, and Stars. I love the meaning behind his older songs (Within the Lights and Stars) And I love the way he sings Cheyenne! The meaning behind Purple Sky is amazing and I just love Running Away for some reason.

Not really, I only would have guessed Unfriend You would be up higher... Cool results though! Nothing too surprising. Though there were a few things I noticed. (1) The bonus songs are VERY popular. I can't say this surprises me, but I wonder why those songs were specifically left off the album. Well, I understand why "Purple Sky" is to some extent if you want to argue it doesn't fit the theme, but the other two seem to fit perfectly. One possible guess is that Greyson really liked the songs, but decided not to include them b/c he wanted more songs he had a part in writing on the actual album. Just a thought though. (2) Stranded is the studio track that so far has the least support. Works for me, b/c that is the one song that I'd go as far as saying I don't like it. Plus the "your tears are made for drinking" kind of grosses me out for some strange reason. (3) For a song that we only have one sub-par video of, "Within the Lights" has gotten quite a lot of support. I wonder if Greyson toyed around with including any of his originals that he wrote before WOTL and if he recorded any of them in the studio. That would be a really cool one to hear (though any of the others would be as well).

The Label & the A&R Department probably have some contractual control. I know of groups who wanted to produce some really good rock songs on their albums but were denied by the lablel because the label preferred to make money off the "Teeny Bop" appeal. It all depends on who has the most "creative control".

Fell in love with Home Is In Your Eyes ever since the first time I heard it. Hold On 'Til The Night is powerful and I love to blast it on the stereo. Light Up The Dark was absolutely my very favorite before HOTTN album came out. I like it a lot! Running Away is a very sad song, but it's my favorite too. Greyson's songs are awesome , to make a long story short.
