I checked the Center Stage website, and it's not on there yet. In fact, it says that Fountains of Wayne is playing in a different part of Center stage that night. Anyway, why would ticketmaster put that date u if it wasnt real? A sick joke or something? So, you're not getting the VIP thing? (if they have it) I know i will. I've been waiting much too long to meet him, and it would really complete my life. Seriously, i don't think i could be ny happier just thinking about it. No, I'll be there. I was just "thinking out loud." I do hope you get to meet him. He is just as nice as you'd think he'd be from watching his interviews and stuff. Great guy.

Mapender, Most singers I listen to usally listen too usally do free meet and greets or no meet and greet at all. Here and there you can get paid meet and greet tickets but they are usally a fortune like Miranda and Drake Bell.

About Ticket Master, sometimes dates for shows are added very early and things change. You need to remember that Ticket Master is a middle man between the venue and the performer so they do make mistakes. As soon as you see you're able to purchase tickets and see more information put on the Ticket Master page it is safe to say that it is really happening. As for meet and greets, I think doing the free single file thing is nice but it just isn't possible when there is a huge turn out. I don't think I would ever be able to purchase VIP passes in the intent to meet someone, I just don't feel right doing it because the person is being forced to meet you. I don't know, just doesn't feel right to me. Although I must say it was very cool when I did get to meet Greyson in private at the show I went to a few months ago, but I was given those tickets. Plus I had no idea that it was happening until it did

Merdith, When Greyson was playing with Miranda back in Febuary tickets to meet Miranda were $150. Tickets to meet Cody when he was with Greyson were $30.Tickets to meet Drake bell on his current tour was $75 so it deppends how much money it is. Thanks for the info! I'm sure if they are really doing the pay for the meet and greet it will be around the price of Cody. I'm sure I'll do the VIP as long as it isn't $150. I was just "thinking out loud" above. Except for the two times that I've seen Greyson, I've never been to a concert with meet and greets. My good friend is a big fan of country music and apparently all country artists do it in some fashion, but acts that I tend to go see don't do it. It probably has to do with audience size. The few groups that I get to see always do it after the show. While a meet & greet builds the fan base, it is also a powerful merchandising tool as people buy things to get them signed.

anyone else think it's weird how he often opens for ASW? he clearly has more fans comparing twitters, facebooks and even the people at those shows seem to be Greyson fans. I went to one and 4/5 of us were there for Greyson In this instance it does seem to be a case of where the opening act is more popular than the headliner. If you tube views are any indication, Allstar Weekend's 3 music videos from 1 year ago have about 4 1/2, 2, and 2 million views. WOTL from 10 mos. ago has over 9 1/2 million views. ASW's video from 7 mos. ago has just under 4 million views. "Unfriend You" already has just under 7 million views in only 3 mos. Greyson may be billed as the opening act, but in reality it's more a case of co-headlining the show at the very least. The only sad part of the arrangement would be if Greyson performed fewer songs as the opening act.

I went to a fairly small venue when I met him. It was a combined concert ad my friend and I were a couple of the few people who knew who he was. He was the opening act for Miranda Cosgrove, and he sang about 6 songs I think. I got to meet him out of luck,(I consider it fate<3) he was behind the theatre by his bus taking pictures and signing autographs... There was about ten people over there. Just dillydally after the show....and maybe you'll get lucky!(:

Just got word that these dates are not correct so please don't buy tickets! Said they'd be removed from Ticketmaster, but not sure if they have been or not.

I wonder how this happens. You would think that a major corporation like Ticketmaster would get their information confirmed before they put tickets on sale. It's disappointing since this was a Friday Night so maybe more fans would be able to go. Also, based on the crowd last time I bet this one will sell out. Then maybe they will move to the Fox.

Yeah, idk what the deal is. I know they were selling VIP tickets for like $70 this morning, but it looks like they've stopped now. The Atlanta show was still listed the last time I checked and he is still listed on the All Star Weekend Fort Lauderdale show.
I tried to get the word out this morning when I got the e-mail, but I'm sure I didn't get to everybody. Too bad, but I'm sure he'll be back around this area again sometime.

Yeah, I know, 'cos I bought 8 of them this morning. Was hoping to do something for the forum as well as bringing my nieces & nephews down from Tennessee. Typical Ticketmaster. (gotta remember, this forum is PG).
