I actually have no idea how I became a Greyson fan. I was on youtube one day and found the video of him singing paparazzi. I was thinking to myself "there is something about this kid that is going to make him famous" so I told my family about him and the next week my mom told me he was going to be on Ellen. And that is when my crazy Greyson obsession started, every time he was on I would rush home and get my note book out to take notes on the episode, ha it may sound weird but it was what I did.
My favorite Greyson song that is out is Waiting Outside The Lines. not because it is one of his singles, but because of the meaning. Last school year I was one of the popular kids, but then last summer/this school year something weird happened and I started thinking all these bad things about myself and stopped talking to people. Once Greyson's song finally came out it helped me not think about what others said about me. It just really changed the way I thought about myself. That is why Waiting Outside The Lines is my favorite song that is out right now.

I guess I'll jump in here and give my response just to share with others - How did you become a fan of Greyson Chance? In late December I was looking for a Justin Bieber spoof I had seen early that day. While looking for this video a video entitled 'Justin Bieber Sings Paparazzi'. I thought that would be interesting so I clicked it. I soon realized it was not actually him and I closed out of the tab and went on to do something else. Later the next day when on Youtube I saw a video entitled 'The new Justin Bieber?', this video had the same thumbnail of the one I had only watched a few seconds of the day before. So for whatever reason I clicked it and decided to watch the whole thing. I was later very glad that I did, I was thinking while watching "Wow, this kid is going to get a record deal soon.". After finding out who the person in the video was and going to his channel, I found out that he was already signed, and to a major label at that. - What is your favorite Greyson Chance song AND why?My favorite song...Well, his original performance of Paparazzi is close. Especially due to the fact that the ending is just so chilling. However, having heard Summer Train, I am going to have to go with that for this. I like Summer Train because I think it really resembles what Greyson wants in his music, although I could be wrong of course, but it just seems that way. It's also so well put together. I also feel that Summer Train is an amazing look as to what the rest of the album will sound like. He has said in multiple interviews that the album takes you through the process of heart break from the beginning to end. I can only assume that Hold On Til The Night will be more of a rock-ish song, being the first on the album, also assuming that Heart Like Stone will follow it. Summer train seems like it will be toward the end, being slowly and more melodic then others that we have heard.

1. How did I become a Fan Well, I remember when my friend said what's this Name? And I said, "That's Greyson Chance, He's the one that sang Paparazzi." And she had no idea who he was. Then that night, I looked up his name, and did some other info about him, and then I heard him sing Broken Hearts and Stars, He was soo amazing and sweet! And to this day, I'm still a fan 2. I really love his song, "Unfriend You" Because, to me it makes perfect sense. And it's something that I would do. Unfriending someone online like on Facebook. And I always feel that he's talking through the song to you, and you actually know what he's saying to you, and what the point that he's trying to get across to you

After I heard Greyson's first single Waiting Outside The Lines on the radio I fell in love! I am always open to finding new musicians but not many I like! I am a huge Jonas Brother fan also and when I saw that Nick Jonas tweeted that he was in the studio with him and Greyson tweeted that they were writing a song together I started to look more into Greyson and I fell in love all over again!! I found out that we have a lot in common and that he is a really sweet person!! When I really became obsessed he had just announced that he was going on tour with Cody Simpson on the Waiting 4U Tour! I was so excited! I talked my mom and grandma into driving us 3 hours to Myrtle Beach to see him! That night I was in the front row and he took the bandana I made him out of my hands and sat it on his piano! The look he gave me when he took it made me freak out and I relized that I loved him so much! I love all of Greyson's songs, but my favorite would have to be Waiting Outside The Lines! I love how it is told like a story, he is writing it from the begining until almost the end when he finishes it and starts to read it from the begining..."You Never Enjoy Your Life Living Inside A Box, Your So Afraid Of Taking Chances, How You Gonna Reach The Top?"! When I listen to this song it makes me feel as if he was talking to me! It shows me that if you live your life waiting for someting to happen and living day by day you will never reach your dreams! You need to chase your dreams until they come true because one day if you really want it you will acheive it! When he says "Rules And Regulations Force You To Play It Safe, Get Rid Of All The Hesitation, Its Time For You To Siese The Day!" It brings be courage! I have always wanted to become somebody in music with singing as he did, but I never really had the support or help from anybody needed to do that, but he is saying Who cares if nobody backs you up? Go for your dreams no matter what and NEVER give up because one day you will show those people that you were serious about this! You will show them that you dont care what they think look where I am now!! That is why I love Waiting Outside The Lines!

I became a fan of Greyson in November. I'd seen him on TV before, but when I saw his cover of "Paparazzi" on Youtube, I fell in love! I just couldn't believe my eyes! Not only was he EXTREMELY talented, but he was adorable too! In March I saw that he was coming to the Casino Ballroom at Hampton Beach, and I decided to go, just for fun. I didn't know that he would have such a huge impact on my life! Although all of Greyson's songs are deep and meaningful, my favorite would have to be Summer Train. It is so relaxing and beautiful! The first time I heard it, I couldn't stop listening to it! I also LOVE his cover of Empire State of Mind! I know that he loves to sing that because New York is one of his favorite places to visit. Greyson Chance is my idol and I look up to him more than anybody else. Greysonator FOREVER!

I've been a fan of Greyson's ever since I saw him on Ellen. I'm such a huge fan that I'm friends with one of his best friends mom on facebook! My Favorite song is Summer Train. Whenever I'm upset or mad I can listen to it to calm me down. I love the meaning of the song. When Holding On Til The Night comes out my favorite song will probably be, Purple Sky! I am so against bullying, and if one of my friends is being bullied i'll have them listen to it, and hopefully they'll know they're okay.

I became a Greyson fan the morning after he posted Paparazzi. I was and still am in love with Lady Gaga, so I typed in Lady Gaga. I randomly clicked a video, and switched to my Facebook tab. After the piano started playing, it had a more powerful and upbeat feeling then Lady Gaga's. I switched back to the YouTube tab, to find an adorable boy. I was amazed and finished watching the video. After the song ended. I went back to Facebook, and searched him. He wasn't nearly famous yet, but now I look back and say "gee, i never knew my first real love would be a boy that I thought I'd never meet." I have proved my self wrong and i met him twice. I could share all my details but that would be way to long. I AM THE MOST PROUD GIRL TO SAY. I AM A GREYSONATOR!
My favorite Greyson song is "Unfriend You" It means everything to me. There was a boy last year. He was my best friend. He's the kind of kid every girl would dream to find. I had always loved him and i always wanted to be more than friends. I felt like he would always be there for me, which he was. but not for long. Now its been like a year and we haven't talked since. In my opinion "Unfriend You" is about trying to forget about some one and moving on. But at the same time, the song is about still loving them.
Id have to thank Greyson for everything. Thank you Greyson for winning my heart.

Why I Love Greyson Chance By Colie Vancura
My inspiration was born on August 16th, 1997 in Wichita Falls, Texas. There are so many reasons why I love Greyson Michael Chance. One day while I was perusing around YouTube I came upon this video of a boy about my age, a little bit older singing Paparazzi by Lady Gaga. I thought, “While that’s cool, I want to watch that!” The second the first note came out of his mouth I fell in love! The way he played piano with such beauty and the way he sang, I couldn’t help it! Then, I clicked on another video, then another until I had watched them all. Each one almost more amazing then the next! I watch them all over and over! I had to hear more of this kid! I immediately subscribed and left a comment saying something like “Wow, your amazing! Don’t give up!” Then, a few weeks later I was watching Ellen and I saw that Greyson was going to be on it! I got so excited! I went back and re-watched his videos and relived the moments of first seeing them and how amazing they were! The day he was on Ellen I rushed home to see him! He sang Paparazzi and I was immediately put in a trance because of his talent! This kid was legit! During, his interview with Ellen he seemed so down to earth which was cool. Then, a few weeks later he was back on Ellen. This was when she announced that Greyson would be the first person she would sign to her new label Eleven Eleven. I couldn’t wait to hear more music! As time went by Greyson released his single Waiting Outside the Lines. I couldn’t believe this kid could be better but it was possible! Then came the day my sister told me about the Waiting4UTour. Greyson Chance was going on tour with Cody Simpson who I also loved! We had to go! I immediately called my friends and told them about it! We all decided to go! Little did I know how much that day would change my life! So, we had bought the tickets and what not. Then came the day while I was in New York City. My friend Brooke’s friend worked at Showcase Live where the concert was taking place. And she said that she could take us in early to watch them set up and also so we don’t have to stand out in the rain! Which also meant we may see Greyson and Cody! I couldn’t even stand it I was so excited! The next day after we came home from New York was the day we made the T-shirts for the concert! Then, came the big day! My friends came over at 9:00 and we got ready to go! As, we got in the car we all couldn’t stop talking and shaking. When we got their we got to pass the lines and go right inside and sit at the bar and watch them set up the stage. But we had to leave for the sound check because they didn’t want anyone to watch but as we were walking out of the room we saw Greyson on stage and Cody were walking down the aisle in our direction! We all walked out of the room but when the door closed we freaked out! All the girls who were standing out their asked us what happened and when we told them they freaked out too! It was out there that we met Morgan. Morgan was from the Make a Wish Foundation in Rochester, New York. We started to talk to her and made friends with her. Then, her mom asked us if we would sit with her in the front row and how could we pass that up! After we watched Cody’s Q&A we just kind of hung out while people went to meet him. That’s when Morgan’s mom asked us if we wanted to go backstage and meet Cody with her! We freaked out and said yes! While, we were waiting to do that we met Greyson mom! Who was incredibly sweet! We talked to her for a few minutes and took a picture with her! She said that she is so proud of Greyson! While we were waiting backstage to meet Cody, Greyson walked by and we all freaked out! I mean wouldn’t you? By, this point we could hardly contain ourselves! During the concert we were sitting on the side of the stage in the front. When Greyson came on it was amazing! He is so talented and amazing live! While he was singing he came over and touched our hands and sang right to us! I screamed so loud and almost cried! (Out of happiness) It was easily the best day ever! Then, after the concert Morgan’s mom asked if we would go meet Greyson with Morgan! At this we screamed YES! It was like a dream come true! I had to pinch myself to make sure it was true! First, Morgan went in to talk to him by herself but then we were invited in! It took all I had not to scream! I’m pretty sure I just had my hand over my mouth! He said, “Hey Guys!” after this point everything is a bit blurry but he gave us all hugs and took pictures and we got to talk to him, which, was so cool! I’m pretty sure I just repeated, “I love you!” “I’m such a huge fan!” “You were so good!” And “This is awesome!” I also think I threw in their a “I was a fan before you were on Ellen!” Which got a response of “Thanks so much!” One awesome thing is that he remembered us from the side of the stage and told my friend that he touched everyone’s hand but hers and had to come back to touch hers! Which was crazy! He is so sweet, and down to earth! And loves to give hugs! He gives some of the best hugs ever! Plus, he said he loved my name! This day turned out to be the best day of my entire life! When I got home from the concert I was on happiness high, which lasted about 2 days! I think I haven’t stopped listening to Greyson and Cody’s music! Also, I have probably watched every Greyson interview that is on YouTube! This kid has taken over my life! I am obsessed! Another highlight of my life with Greyson is the day he was having an Unfriend You Karaoke game on Twitter he RT’d my tweet! I couldn’t stop smiling that night! Now, if only I could get him to follow me… The day when he was on Ellen again and he sang Unfriend You and talked about his new Album Hold On ‘Til The Night I practically ran inside my house after school to watch and I started to cry when he sang. During the summer Greyson is going on tour with Miranda Cosgrove and I really wanted to go! I begged my parents and grandparents for tickets and finally they gave in and bought the tickets! So, now I will be seeing Greyson live again on August 4th! Which gives me two days to learn all the songs from the new album! Also, since his birthday is August 16th I am getting him an awesome gift! But, anyway so in conclusion the reasons why I love Greyson (In no particular order) are: 1. He is super talented! 2. He writes amazing music that is totally relatable! 3. He is legit. 4. He is so cute! 5. He loves to give hugs! 6. He gives amazing hugs! 7. He was so sweet! 8. Really does love his fans! 9. Is close to my age! 10. He is amazing live! 11. He loves to connect with his fans 12. He is totally down to earth! 13. He is super funny! 14. He has a great sense of humor; I mean c’mon his fave joke, “Want to hear a joke about my new cat? Sure. Just Kitten!” That is hilarious! 15. He is inspirational 16. He is a Harry Potter Fan! I could go on forever but to conclude this list, 17. He is amazing. I am and always will be an enchancer! Greyson is awesome and Adorable, and Sweet, and here I go again… Basically, what I want to say is Greyson, Never chance! Your fans love you the way you are! Oh, and also never stop what you are doing! <3
I CANNOT CHOSE A FAVE SONG I LOVE THEM ALL! <3

I became a greysonator on Monday May 17th, 2010 at sometime around 4 PM. That was before the word "greysonator" was even invented. I got home, decided to go on youtube, and there on the homepage was 4 videos of someone named Greyson Chance, playing piano. I play piano too, so I decided to click on it and just check it out. Little did I know, I was about to fall in love and whole new chapter of my life was beginning. Broken Hearts was the first one I watched, then Paparazzi, then Greyson on Ellen, then Paparazzi a couple hundred more times Then I called my dad at work and told him that we were moving to Oklahoma because I was getting married... He basically just hung up. That was the night that started it all. And I've been becoming a huger greysonator a every day since then. My favorite song of Greyson's has to be either Summer Train or Within The Lights. I can't decide. I love Summer Train because it's kind of... not mysterious, but different. Something we don't usually get from Grey. And it has really deep meaning. Someone listening to it for the first time would probably be like, "What does this song even have to do with a train?" I especially love the bridge because I feel like Greyson's not holding back at all (even though he never does) and is just belting it out because he's just that amazing. Within The Lights is also one of my favorites. Maybe it's just because he's only performed it once and I want to know so much more. But I like the way that it IS actually kind of mysterious. I also love how it starts out soft and gets louder and louder and louder until Greyson is basically scream/singing. One of my favorite lines is, "And time goes by, oh so very fast. So let's make sure we make it last. Tonight." INTENSE. Greyson’s good at bringing the intensity And that’s why I love him and his music so much, and will until the day I die. And then I’ll go to heaven and love him some more

I became a fan of Greyson about 3 days before he was on Ellen. I just saw it on youtube and instantly loved him & so I subscribed, obviously, and watched all his videos. He was such an amazing songwriter as well as performer. I didn't know much about Ellen, but then on May 13th, Greyson's first Ellen appearance, I was just watching TV with my mom and Ellen was on. I freaked when I saw it was the boy I saw a couple days earlier just on the computer now on a major show. Since then, I've been to multiple concerts, a CD signing and all the fangirling stuff like that. Greyson has impacted my life more than I ever thought a simple boy from youtube would. He's made me much happier just in everything in my life. He's changed my total outlook. His personality has rubbed off on me and his music and self got me through a tough time where my parents split. Greyson is the go-to playlist on my iPod.
My favorite song of Greyson's is probably Stars. I love the meaning of it and Greyson executed the story so well. It means so much because he wrote it himself and he sings it with such feeling and care. He can tell a story through his music. I love Greyson Chance<3

I saw the "Paparazzi" video late in the evening the day before it really went viral. I can't remember which blog I was on, but there was a headline that read "Sixth Grader Covers Lady Gaga." I almost didn't watch it b/c I was not a Lady Gaga fan and I thought that it was going to be something funny, not amazing. However, I decided to click on it and was blown away. That night I sent an e-mail to all my friends titled "This kid has talent" and the following day I showed it to anybody who would listen to me. Of course, I was captivated by his voice, but it was more than that. There are plenty of people in this world that can sing really well, but it was his very obvious passion that really won me over. Greyson's original compositions only solidified my interest in him. It was kind of weird hearing somebody so young sing about such adult topics, but his desire and amazing ability to tackle such interesting topics at such a young age still amazes me. I have pretty much followed everything he has done since then. As far as studio "releases" go, I have to go with "Summer Train" being my favorite song so far. I just really like everything about the song: the acoustic guitar which we hadn't heard on his songs yet, the lyrics and especially how he sings it. I am so glad that the song was somehow leaked. I also really like his original songs which we haven't heard in studio form yet. I can't decide if I like "Past," "Stars" or "Within the Lights" the best. I actually think that a lot of the imagery that Greyson (or his sister) has come up with on his own in his lyrics is superior to a lot of the stuff that has been written for him. He might need some help turning those songs into finished products, but I hope that we get to hear at least some of them in finished form. I really hope I win the prize!
