Heyyy guyys! Okaaay, so I hope you enjoyed Chapter 1. (: Anyways, here's Chapter 2!
A/N: This chapter took place when Joey went for a walk in Central Park.
Chapter 2 - Greyson
I wake up to the wonderful New York sun. I look at the clock. 8:00 AM it reads. I get up and go to the bathroom to take a shower.
Then, I slip into a pair of skinny jeans, a V-neck shirt, and a pair of black Converse. I go down to the hotel restaurant and see my crew eating breakfast, so I sit with them and order breakfast. Eggs and bacon and milk.
After breakfast, I hail a cab going to the nearest Starbucks.
Since I asked the driver to bring me to the nearest Starbucks, the ride only lasts for only a matter of minutes. As I step out from the vehicle, I see a girl around my age exit the coffee shop. She is sporting a pair of white shorts, a floral tank top and a pair of sandals. Her Ray-Bans covering her eyes. Her blonde waist-length hair is Dutch braided and hangs on her right shoulder. She's drinking a Frappucino. My eyes trail to where she is going. She is going to the direction of Central Park. Hopefully I'd see her there, she looks beautiful.
After buying a Frappucino just like the girl with the braid had (yes, that's what I nicknamed her) I go to Central Park. I take very cautious steps, scanning the vicinity every now and then for the girl. But I do not find her, so I resort to an empty bench and finish my Frappucino.
I go back to my chair, after throwing my coffee, and flip open the book I brought with ,e, The Catcher in the Rye. My sister gave it to me and I don't know why. She says it's a classic and a really good book. But while I am absorbed with the book, I become hungry. So I go to the hotdog stand which I saw when I came to the park. It is only a few yards away.
"Oh, it's very kind of you sir, but I should pay this second hotdog you gave me!" A girl, about my age...wait a second, that's the girl with the braid! My heart's beating fast, and I just don't know why. I have this strange necessity to talk to her!
"But young lady, this one is on the house! The guy behind the hotdog stand says, "Please, take it! I insist!"
"Well, if you say so. Thank you!" The girl replies, reluctant to take the free hotdog, but pure gratitude is plastered on her face.
"Would you like a hotdog, young man?" He says to me, after entertaining the girl with the braid.
"Me? Uh, yeah, sure." I say, still staring at the girl walking away.
"Here you go," the man says, holding out two hotdogs.
I give him the money and only take one hotdog.
"Wait! Here, take this." The man says, holding out the hotdog for me.
"Okay, wait a second." I say, digging in my pocket for some change.
"No, no, no. This is free, lad!" The man says.
"But sir, I should pay for it!"
"It's on the house!"
"In that case, thank you!" I say, accepting the hotdog.
I take a bite on one of the hotdogs and walk to the direction the girl walked away. I decide to scan this part of the park for her, and with luck, I see her, munching on her hotdogs. I have to admit, she looks cute when she eats. Wait, Greyson, why are you thinking like that? You barely know her! You don't even know her name! I think. But, she's so irresistable. It's like there's some king of gravity pulling me to her. It's like it wants me to get to know her.
I see an empty bench, just a few yards across from her and sit there so I can see her. It's not stalking! Is it? I hope not. I'm just keeping an eye on her. No, scratch that, that sounds like I'm watching my prey. I just want to know her. No, I need know her. Even just her name. But I've been too busy debating with myself I do not notice her leaving.
But as she leaves, her head turns to my direction. But even though her eyes are covered by her Ray-Bans, I know we made eye contact. And as she walks away, I smile to myself. This is not a coincedence, this is fate, God really planned this for me. I silently thank him.
Girl with the braid, no matter who you are, I will find you. New York might be a big place for just two people. You just wait because I, Greyson Chance, am going to get you.
So, you guys like Greyson's point of view? Well, you might wonder why I didn't mention them making eye contact in Joey's point of view. Well, it's because I wanted to make things exciting in this chapter! So, will Greyson find her in New York? Find out! Review please! (:
